Greetings Earthlings! The team is on the ground at #SVSW. Come say hello, tell us about what you’re building, and pick up some epic swag!
SpaceComputer | Orbital Root of Trust
Space Research and Technology
Satellite-based distributed compute network and open settlement layer for confidential smart contracts.
About us
SpaceComputer is building a satellite-based distributed network and open settlement layer for confidential smart contracts: A space-native compute layer where trust is rooted beyond Earth. Our mission is to create physically-verifiable, tamper-proof computation in orbit. By leveraging the isolation and resilience of the space environment, SpaceComputer establishes a new cryptographic trust model that is independent from Earth-based infrastructure and censorship.

Are the thermodynamics of an AI data center in orbit efficient enough to be worth the investment? We're diving into the engineering and economics of computing in orbit panel at Silicon Valley Space Week. Our Co-founder & CTO Filip Rezabek is joining the discussion with Jason Aspiotis at OwlO Cloud, Rob DeMillo at Sophia Space, Dr. Slava Turyshev NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Joseph Yaffe at Cowboy Space Corporation, moderated by Janna Lewis Rocketdyne. "Orbital Data Centers: Investable infrastructure or thermodynamic bet?" ➤ Tue, Oct 27 | 12:15 PM – 1:00 PM 📍 Hahn Auditorium Attending Silicon Valley Space Week? Let’s connect! Find us at booth 14 🛰️

Trigger warning: this post contains data that may cause you irreversible obsession with the rising space economy I had a great opportunity to present at the exquisite NYC location on Cornell Tech Rosevelt Island Campus in their Innovator Speaker Series of the AI & Blockchain at Cornell Tech. Specifically honored to present alongside Rob Meyerson, CEO of Interlune and fmr President of Blue Origin, this was one in a series of outstanding events organized by my friend Neil DeSilva - an innovation leader and veteran in the New York financial sector, formerly CFO at PayPal Digital Currencies, and CFO at Galaxy Trading. A recap of the discussion is that We’re living in momentous and extremely disruptive times in tech, economy and social order Drawing the analogy of Internet economy: - 1995: there were 16m internet connected devices - 2005: close to 1B internet connected devices and it didn’t stop there Where are we today? - 2026: ~17k active satellites in orbit FCC applications for over 1m satellites have already been submitted as of today! - 2035: projections for more than 10m active satellite Understanding the scale of this buildout should give you an idea of just how obvious of a megatrend the space economy is That’s why at SpaceComputer | Orbital Root of Trust, we are designing and building space missions that move from thinking in terms of “space missions” to “space Internet Infrastructure. We’re building cyber-space (pun intended) hardware and software that will unlock massive efficiency for spacecrafts and will introduce full stack secure compute and comms for interoperability.

Can you prove a satellite image came from space, and that the software you expected is what processed it? Earth observation (EO) data informs commercial, environmental, and national security decisions, yet customers usually have to take its origin and handling on trust. We're presenting how to bring end-to-end verifiability to EO at Silicon Valley Space Week. ➤ Wed, Oct 28 | 11:00 AM – 11:45 PM 📍 Lovelace Room Attending Silicon Valley Space Week? Let’s connect! 🛰️ What if the next generation of data centers were orbiting Earth? Satellites are becoming powerful computing platforms for AI and sensitive workloads. But how can we trust computations performed on hardware we cannot physically access? Join Filip Rezabek, Co-Founder & CTO of SpaceComputer | Orbital Root of Trust, as he introduces Space Fabric — an architecture combining confidential computing, remote attestation, and cryptographic verification to make computing in space secure and trustworthy. From orbital data centers to distributed trust, this talk explores cybersecurity challenges that could reshape computing both in space and on Earth. 📅 November 4, 2026 | 12:00 CET 🎥 Free, live & interactive: https://lnkd.in/ey83YW7a Join us and explore the next frontier of cybersecurity! 🚀 https://lnkd.in/dJxaG775 IMT Atlantique IMT Atlantique Alumni Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT) Fondation Mines-Télécom Chaire Cybersécurité des Infrastructures Critiques (Cyber CNI) Marc-Oliver Pahl Airbus CyberSecurity Airbus Protect Astek RTE AMOSSYS (groupe ALMOND) BNP Paribas EDF Groupe SNCF Pôle d'excellence cyber Région Bretagne IRISA - Institut de Recherche en Informatique et Systèmes Aléatoires CyberSchool - École Universitaire de Recherche en cybersécurité Cube 5 | Creating Security
