Know what you install

Your funds are simulated.
The details matter.

Here’s what MemeTrader stores, what it accesses, and how its optional links work.

Simulated funds only

No wallet connection, seed phrase requests, or real transactions.

Practice data saved locally

Your paper trades, balances, and preferences are stored in your browser.

Access with a purpose

MemeTrader reads prices and displays its panel and chart markers on supported sites.

Privacy & Permissions

Local storage and scheduled checks

Storage permission saves your paper balances, trades, settings, imp progress, and cached prices. Alarms permission schedules checks for pending paper orders. You can export a backup to a file.

Website and chart access

The extension reads displayed prices and adds its panel and paper-trade markers on supported sites. Its chart integration also runs in matching chart frames, including TradingView frames.

To draw markers, paper-order and trade details are passed to the page’s chart integration. Scripts on that page may be able to observe those details.

External price services

Market prices and conversion rates come from services including DEX Screener, CoinGecko, Coinbase, and TERMINAL’s price service. Requests can include the token or market being viewed.

Optional referral links

MemeTrader includes labeled links to trading platforms. If you use an eligible referral link, we may earn a commission. Using these links is optional.

Is it free?

Yes. MemeTrader is free to install and use, including the features shown here. Optional referral links may earn us a commission; using them is not required.

Which browsers does it work with?

MemeTrader is a Chrome extension for desktop Chrome, installed through the Chrome Web Store. Support for other browsers and mobile browsers is not confirmed.

Am I trading with real money?

No. All MemeTrader trades use simulated funds. It does not connect to a wallet, ask for a seed phrase, or execute real transactions.

Where does MemeTrader work?

The practice panel overlays GMGN, DEX Screener, Axiom, FOMO, and the pump.fun Terminal. Open a token page on a supported platform to practice.

Can I reset my balance?

Yes. In the extension’s settings, choose your starting balance and use “Reset account.” This resets the selected network’s practice account and deletes its positions and history. Export a backup first if you want to keep a record.

What happens to my data if I clear my browser?

Your practice data is stored locally in your browser. Clearing MemeTrader’s extension storage, deleting your browser profile, or uninstalling the extension can remove it. Clearing browsing history alone is different from clearing extension storage. Export a wallet backup before a cleanup or reset; don’t assume your data will survive. Wallet backups do not include cosmetic progress.

Do simulated results predict real results?

No. Simulated results don’t predict real results. Real execution, liquidity, market conditions, and the pressure of risking money can change the outcome. MemeTrader makes no promise of profit.

Can I practice on this website?

No. This page introduces the extension. Practice trades happen inside MemeTrader on supported platforms, using live prices and simulated funds. The screenshot above is an example, not an interactive trading panel.

Does “stored locally” mean nothing reaches a website?

No. Practice records are stored in your browser, but requests to external price services can include the token or market you’re viewing. Chart-marker integration passes paper-order and trade details to the page, where page scripts may observe them. Read the full Privacy & Permissions disclosure.
