The notch app
for Windows.

What you copy, write and say never leaves this PC. No analytics, no crash reporting.
No account
Just a license key. No sign-in, no subscription, no ads.
Online only when needed
To activate once, to confirm your license now and then, and for the optional AI download.
Windows 10 & 11
64-bit (x64) Windows 10 (version 2004 or newer) and Windows 11. Not for 32-bit or Arm PCs.
The tools you use all day.
Open the notch and they are all there. Here are the ones people reach for first.
And everything else in the dock.
Files, snippets, timers, tasks, notes and more. Small tools that save a trip to another app.
Paste a series, in order.
Clipboard Stack remembers what you copy, and in what order. Copy everything first, then paste it back one value at a time, right where it belongs.
- CtrlShiftAltC
Start collecting
Press the shortcut, or the Collect button. While it says “Collecting”, every new copy joins the queue.
- CtrlC
Copy as usual
Copy each thing the way you always do, with Ctrl+C. Each one is added to the queue, in the order you copied it.
- CtrlShiftAltV
Paste one at a time
Click where you want the first value and press the shortcut. The next item is pasted. Repeat. The “Up next” card always shows what the next paste will insert.
Into a spreadsheet
Paste the whole queue at once, as a row or a column, into Excel, Google Sheets or Airtable.
Numbers add up
When two or more copies are numbers, a bar shows their count, sum, average, minimum and maximum.
Yours to rearrange
Drag to reorder, skip the next one, paste from any row, or start over.
A notch that knows when to stay quiet.
It sits at the edge of your screen and only steps forward when something matters.
Stays out of the way
One always-on-top window the size of your screen, but only the notch and the open panel take the mouse. Everything else stays clickable through it.
Doesn't steal focus
A panel opened by hover does not take keyboard focus, so it won't interrupt what you type in another app. Click a text box inside it to type.
Hides for games and video
“Slides away while a game or video is fullscreen.” On by default.
Many monitors, any edge
Drag it along the top or bottom edge, to the other edge, or to another monitor. Works with high-DPI screens.
It shows what matters now
A clock by default. A timer ring, a reminder, “Standup – 4 min”, “Stack 3”, “Shelf 2” or a live mic when they matter. Calm things step aside.
- Mon, 5 Oct – 2:32 PM
- Standup – 4 min
- Pay rent – now
- Stack 3
- Shelf 2
Your size, your look
Three panel sizes, three pill sizes, adjustable opacity, and a thin line instead of the notch if you prefer. Timer and reminder sounds still play.
Do it without opening anything.
Global shortcuts work in any app: mute your mic mid-call, start a timer, or paste the next copy. All 13 start with the same three keys, and every one can be changed.

Your settings
The app has no account, no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting and no ads. Deleted clips, chats and tasks are overwritten, so deleted means gone.
Never recorded in clipboard history: copies from KeePass, KeePassXC, Bitwarden, 1Password, LastPass, Dashlane, NordPass, Enpass, RoboForm and Proton Pass, and any copy an app marks private with Windows' own opt-out. You can add other programs to the list.

Requirements
- Windows
- Windows 10 (version 2004 or newer) or Windows 11, 64-bit (x64)
- Processor
- Not built for 32-bit Windows, and PCs with Arm processors are not supported. To check your PC, open Settings > System > About and look for “x64-based processor”.
- License
- A one-time purchase. The key arrives by email and is activated once in the app.
- Get the app
- From the Microsoft Store
- WebView2
- PerchDeck needs Microsoft's WebView2 runtime. Windows 11 includes it; the Store package does not install it, so a Windows 10 PC without it needs the free WebView2 Runtime from Microsoft.
- AI chat (optional)
- One-time download of about 1.82 GB; about 3 GB of free memory while it runs. A PC with 4 GB or less gets a warning; 8 GB or more is recommended.
- Internet
- Needed to activate (once), for the optional AI download (once), and to re-confirm your license now and then. Everything else works offline.
- Teleprompter hiding
- Hiding from screen sharing needs Windows 10 version 2004 or newer

Buying and activating
$4.5 during the flash sale, normally $14.5. A one-time payment for a license key, with free updates, priced in US dollars; checkout shows your local currency. Plus local tax, added at checkout.
Where local tax applies (VAT, GST or sales tax), it is added at checkout based on your country and postal code, and shown as a separate line before you pay. Dodo Payments, which handles the payment, calculates and collects the tax.
Buy a license on this site (a one-time payment). Dodo Payments emails you a license key. Install PerchDeck, hover the notch, paste the key into the “Activate PerchDeck” box and press Activate. It needs an internet connection once, then PerchDeck restarts unlocked. Until a key is activated, none of the tools work.
No. There is no sign-in. All you need is the license key from your purchase email.
No. PerchDeck needs an activated license key from the first launch, and does nothing without one. There is a 7-day refund guarantee.
Yes, within 7 days of buying. When a refund goes through, the key is disabled and PerchDeck stops working shortly afterwards while your PC is online. A PC kept offline keeps working for a limited time.
A key can be active on up to 3 PCs at once. To move it, open Settings > License on the old PC, press Deactivate, then activate on the new one. Reinstalling Windows without deactivating first keeps that PC's spot in use until it is freed.
Paste the key exactly as it appears in your purchase email and check it for typing mistakes. Activation needs an internet connection. If PerchDeck says the key is already active on every PC it allows, open Settings > License on one of them and press Deactivate, then try again. If it says the key is for a different product, it is not a PerchDeck key. Still stuck? Contact support.
The basics
PerchDeck is a Windows desktop app that puts a small black notch at the edge of your screen. Hover or click it and it opens into a panel of 13 everyday tools: clipboard history and a paste stack, a file shelf, snippets, mic mute and a camera mirror, timers, to-dos, a calendar, a note, voice memos, a calculator, a unit converter, a teleprompter and Ask PerchDeck, an AI chat that runs on your PC.
Windows 10 (version 2004 or newer) and Windows 11, 64-bit (x64) only, installed from the Microsoft Store. It is not built for 32-bit Windows, and PCs with Arm processors are not supported. It needs Microsoft's WebView2 runtime: Windows 11 includes it, and a Windows 10 PC without it needs the free WebView2 Runtime from Microsoft. There is no macOS or Linux version.
Yes. Settings > General > Startup has “Start with Windows”. It switches itself on the first time the installed app runs, and you can turn it off. Reminders for to-dos and calendar events only show while PerchDeck is running.
Updates are free: your license covers new versions, and you don't pay again. PerchDeck has no updater of its own, so to update, install the newer version or get it through the Microsoft Store.
No. PerchDeck is for Windows only. It is built for the Windows desktop, which has no hardware notch, so the notch is drawn at the edge of your screen.
Privacy and offline
Mostly. You need the internet once to activate. After that PerchDeck works without a connection, but it re-confirms your license now and then while you are online, and asks for a connection if it has been offline too long (you will see “Confirm your license” and a “Check again” button). The optional AI model also needs a one-time download.
The app has no telemetry, analytics, crash reporting or ads, and no account. (This website does count visits, without cookies: see the privacy page.) Your clipboard history, notes, voice memos and chats stay on your PC. The license check sends only your key, your PC's name and an activation id to Dodo Payments. PerchDeck writes technical logs (such as error text) locally, but not what you copied, wrote or said.
No. Copies from KeePass, KeePassXC, Bitwarden, 1Password, LastPass, Dashlane, NordPass, Enpass, RoboForm and Proton Pass are never recorded, nor are copies that apps mark as private with Windows' own opt-out. You can add any other program to a Never record list.
No. Nothing syncs anywhere, and a license key is not an account. Calendar events are kept on your PC.
Using PerchDeck
Yes. Settings > Appearance has “Hide the notch”, which shows a thin dark line instead. Point at it or click it to open the panel. The line stays a line: nothing is shown on it, not a timer, a reminder or the microphone state, though sounds still play for timers and reminders.
Yes. In Settings > Tabs you can change the order of the dock and hide any tool. Settings itself always stays last.
Yes. All global shortcuts use Ctrl+Shift+Alt plus a key by default, and every one can be changed in Settings > Shortcuts. PerchDeck warns you if another app has taken one.
Yes. Drag the notch to another monitor or the other edge of the screen. By default it slides away while a game or video is fullscreen on its monitor.
Stack pastes by sending Ctrl+V to the app in front. Programs running as administrator ignore it unless PerchDeck is also run as administrator.
Yes, on Windows 10 version 2004 or newer. “Hide from screen sharing while reading” is on by default, and it hides the panel from calls, streams and recordings that capture the screen while a script is reading. A phone or camera pointed at your screen can still see it.
Ask PerchDeck is the AI chat, the “AI” tab in the dock. It is Qwen3.5 2B (Alibaba, Apache 2.0) running on your CPU through llama.cpp, with no account or subscription. It is a small model: good for summaries, rewriting and quick questions, and it reads pictures, but it makes mistakes and is not comparable to large cloud models. It needs about 3 GB of free memory while it works.
