Well made and no software required

Fantastic ergonomic gaming keyboard. The incline is adjustable only in one dimension, so you couldn't ramp it up or down, it only tilts up, but that is fine for me. The wrist rests are very comfortable, bordering on a little too thick as it feels like it interferes with pressing the space bar sometimes. However I got used to that fairly quickly. I especially like that remapping and macros requires no software and I don't have any software for this keyboard installed on my system. That alone for me overcomes any of the quirks. But honestly even my small nitpicks are very minor. This is a well thought out keyboard. The fit and finish isn't quite as premium feeling as a metal chassis keyboard, as this is made of all plastic, but it's still feels premium in that tier. The keys are standard cherry MX keycap compatible, so you could swap out the keys that you want if you want a more premium fuel on the keys themselves.

Overall as someone who both works in games with my keyboard and was starting to get the onset of carpal tunnel, this is a miracle keyboard. It's also extremely comfortable, and I would be happy to have used it without needing health reasons. I highly recommend for any gamer who wants more comfort.

Not just a gaming keyboard - it replaced MS & Logi Ergo keyboards at work.

I am an ergo keyboard user, MS, Logi, etc. I didn't see the reason for paying this much for a split.

Glad I did. I don't use the tenting much, but do have it at its lowest setting. The mechanical keys are really nice (quiets, are not that quiet, in a good way). The layout is a little different but I like where the Delete key is.

I didn't think I'd use Macro Keys a lot, but keyboard shortcuts for my Excel and Camtasia work have got me hooked.

Unfortunately, I use 10-key a fair amount, so got one of those. Interesting enough, having the mouse next to the keyboard and the 10-key outside the mouse works well for me.

There is a learning curve going from a standard keyboard to this, but my co-worker used this once a week for a few weeks and finally said he's getting used to it. Using it daily would've probably helped.

There is a strange learning curve going from ergo to split, but that goes away quickly. Wrist rests are mandatory, and coupled with the tenting, this is a work keyboard, and not a gaming one for me.

I think this could do well in professional environments, but I realize that's not the target (as a "gaming" focused keyboard).

Love this keyboard - I bought it to replace a non-RGB version I had been using for ten years or something. I bought it with the linear switches and they feel great! Very solid. I might buy O-rings to dampen the sound while I'm on a call. I mostly leave the board at its highest pitch and put a vertical mouse between the segments. Hard to beat the price for a mechanical ergo split board!

I love this keyboard. Best thing I’ve ever typed on. It takes a bit to get used to. I recently hopped on typing.com to speed up the learning curve, and I love it even more. The wrist tilt helps my pinky. The lights and customization are wonderful and make the whole setup look beastly.

The kickstands don't lock and the Software is terrible.

This keyboard cost $200. For that it should be so much better. The kickstands are awful. They don't lick at all. So if you hit or move anything they will fall. They have two tiny rubber feet on the ends so if one foot comes off the keyboard tray it goes sliding. The customization software is the worst software I have ever used. Instead of any normal system it relies on special custom key commands to do anything. It's vastly overly complex and at best is frustrating and at worse doesn't work. Again, at this price everything should be better. Very disappointed.

      Great board.

I've been using versions of this keyboard for over a decade now and have yet to find anything I like the layout of quite as much. I only got the latest update because I was going overseas for an extended period and decided a new one was easier than cleaning my old one, which still works just fine and has for years and years.

These are good solid keyboards that work well and are simple enough to program. If you're looking to test the waters of ergonomic boards but aren't quite ready to give up your familiar layout, this is a great place to start, especially with the lift kit included. For me, the split and tenting relieved pretty much all of my issues caused by my wide shoulders making normal boards an uncomfortable squeeze of weirdly tilted wrists.

The one downside for me is purely a hobbyist one, the uniquely sized space bars are impossible to find replacements for if you want to use custom key sets, but if you're not into custom key sets that's a non-issue.

Great for gamers, not so much for work or other uses

Love the key distribution and backlit keys, but programming the shortcut keys is a pain, with both Windows and Mac. You can only program macro combinations, not point to specific paths of apps you want to execute. Since that's what I really needed, I returned it - but I can see it being a perfect fit for a gamer.
