One of the best parts of a design team is watching someone quietly become one of your most trusted people. Matthew Crisp is that person. Over the past year, Matt has become one of the strongest visual designers at Zypsy. His design judgement is sharp, his execution is consistently excellent, and he's earned a place on some of our most important projects. What stands out is how he works. His thinking is clear. His files are organized. He documents his decisions, communicates well, and makes collaboration easier for everyone around him. Those things never make it into a case study. (Although, funny enough, Matt designs plenty of those too.) But they're a huge part of what separates a good designer from a great one. The people who have the biggest impact on a team aren't usually the loudest ones in the room. They're the ones who quietly raise the quality bar every single time they touch a project. Matt has become one of those people. 10 years into the craft and based in Cape Town, he's still chasing the thoughtful, well-made details most people never notice. Websites, typography, and anything built to last. When he's not designing, he's on a bicycle, talking cars, nerding out on watches, or hunting down the perfect cup of coffee. New brand launch: Podium Automation Podium Automation builds industrial control panels. Faster and better than anyone in their space. The Zypsy team visited their factory floor in Brooklyn to see the equipment, process, and team. We were inspired to build the brand from what we saw - the circuits, wiring schematics, technical drawings, and the control panels themselves. The brand spoke the same language as the product.
