Not at All.
Dentists often recommend that children under age 8 receive help or supervision while brushing. That guidance is absolutely correct—and our Talking Coach is designed to support it, not replace it.
Our goal is to help children learn how to brush correctly, not to brush completely on their own without parental involvement.
The Talking Coach:

Teaches kids to understand different areas of the mouth (tooth zones);
Guides them through a structured brushing routine;
Builds awareness, confidence, and healthy habits;

However, due to developing motor skills and coordination, young children may still miss spots or lack consistency. That’s why parental follow-up (touch-up brushing) remains important.

Think of it this way:
The child learns and practices with the coach;
Parent perfects the result;
Together, this creates both good habits and reliable oral care.

Yes. Many dentists recommend electric toothbrushes for children because they help remove more plaque than manual brushing and make it easier for kids to brush effectively—especially when they’re still learning proper technique.

Absolutely. The Q30 is specifically designed for kids aged 3–12, with ultra-soft bristles and gentle cleaning modes that protect sensitive gums and developing enamel.

The toothbrush works perfectly on its own. The app is optional but helpful for parents who want to track brushing habits, monitor progress, and encourage consistency.

Our toothbrush uses bone conduction to deliver sound. This means the sound is transmitted through vibration rather than through the air.
When the toothbrush is held in the air, the sound is very quiet. Only when the brush head is in contact with the teeth during proper brushing does the sound become clear and audible.
This is intentionally designed to encourage correct brushing behavior—kids hear the guidance best when they are brushing properly.
Because bone conduction relies on vibration, the volume cannot be adjusted independently.

How to pause during brushing:
Within the first 4 seconds after turning on the toothbrush: pressing the button will switch modes;
After 4 seconds of operation: pressing the button will pause the brushing.
