Talk through a process. Get a diagram everyone sees.
The process map is done before the call ends.
Wavelength is a voice to diagram tool for sales engineers, solution architects, technical project managers, and the consultants who run process discovery workshops. Wavelength draws an editable flow while you talk on the call. The map is done before the call ends.

How to connect
.
How it works
-
Talk through it
: Hold the mic, or paste or upload a transcript (Zoom, Teams, Gong .vtt, .srt, .txt, .md, .json, .docx or .pdf) or an audio or video recording, and describe the process in plain language.
-
Watch it map
: Wavelength structures the flow in real time, picking the right shapes and connections. The diagram builds live while you hold the mic, and a final cleanup pass tidies it when you let go.
-
Refine & collaborate
: Edit with a prompt, a right-click, or by hand, then export to PNG, PDF, PowerPoint, draw.io, Mermaid, and BPMN 2.0, or send an email recap.
From a recording
: the call already happened? Upload the transcript (.txt, .md, .vtt, .srt, .json, .pdf, .docx) or the audio or video recording (.mp3, .m4a, .wav, .mp4, .mov, .webm, and other audio or video files). Wavelength builds the same map. Your browser turns a recording of up to 120 minutes into text, and its length counts toward your mic minutes.
Where teams use Wavelength
-
Sales & solution demos
: Map a prospect's data flow live on the call so everyone sees the same picture.
-
Architecture reviews
: Talk through a system design and get a clean, editable diagram to share.
-
Onboarding & enablement
: Turn a walkthrough into a visual process new hires can actually follow.
-
Ops & process mapping
: Document how work moves across people, tools, and data stores while you explain it.
-
Discovery & requirements workshops
: Map a client's current state live in the session, so they validate it in the room instead of two weeks later.
Built for the call, not the whiteboard
Lucid and Miro are drawing tools. Wavelength draws the map from what people say on the call. Checked October 2026.
-
Live voice to map during the call
: Wavelength, yes. Lucid, no: Process Capture turns a screen recording into a diagram, on the Enterprise plan only. Miro, no.
-
Trial without a card
: Wavelength, 7 days of Pro with no card. Lucid, the 7-day trial asks for payment details. Miro, a 14-day Business trial; the pricing page does not say if a card is needed.
-
Entry paid price
: Wavelength Starter, $4.99 a month or $4.16 a month billed yearly. Lucid Individual, $9 a month billed yearly. Miro Starter, $8 per member a month billed yearly.
-
Free plan
: Wavelength, 5 saved flows. Lucid, 3 editable documents. Miro, 3 editable boards.

One canvas for every part of the call
-
Process maps and flowcharts
: live mode while you talk, swimlanes and BPMN 2.0 export, pages, versions, and sharing. Works with draw.io, Lucidchart, and Mermaid.
-
AI from the call itself
: Ask and Summarize, Enhance rough notes, and recording or screen video upload. Works beside Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
-
Stakeholder and org maps
: actor cards with owners, a one-click stakeholder map, and reporting lines from the call. Attach the map to a HubSpot deal.
-
Data flows and systems
: systems, data stores, and screens, with dashed amber for AI guesses. Use it from Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor.
-
Linked data and status
: link a Google Sheet or a CSV, see the heat view by wait time, and red and yellow status badges.
-
Workshops and live sessions
: share the map live from a link, run a timer and dot voting, let AI sort sticky notes into themes, and open a timeline or a 2x2 priority matrix. Embed in Notion and Confluence. See
live sessions and workshops
.
See where the process slows down
Link a Google Sheet of times, costs, and owners to the map. Every step shows its own numbers, and the slow ones turn yellow or red, so the team can decide what to fix first. Rows match shapes by name, Refresh pulls the latest numbers, and the heat view ranks steps by wait time.
Run the whole call on one canvas
Map the process, run the room, and plan the next step without a second tool.
-
Facilitate the call live
: go live and send one link, with no account for the room. Run a timer, dot voting, a laser pointer, and follow me. Draft in private mode, then reveal the map. Save the vote results on the flow.
-
Freeform canvas
: sticky notes, text, shapes, stickers, pen, comments, frames, pages for the current and future state, and AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud icons. Browse the
template library
to start from a real flow.
-
Plan the work
: a timeline view with one row per owner, steps scored by impact, effort, and pain in a 2x2 priority matrix, a linked Google Sheet or CSV of times, costs, and owners, and the flow attached to a Jira issue or a HubSpot deal.
-
Across all your calls
: Insights shows the systems, people, and steps that repeat across your flows, and the AI names the patterns. Client portals give each customer one link to vote and comment, and check-ins email you when a flow is due for review.
-
AI on the canvas
: sort sticky notes into themed frames, turn sticky notes into a process flow, find the patterns that repeat across all of your calls, and export the pages and frames as a slide deck.
Ready for your security review
-
SCIM provisioning
: Okta and Microsoft Entra ID add and remove members. Flows move to a teammate when someone leaves.
-
Two-step verification
: owners and admins can require two-step verification for every member.
-
Audit log
: views, exports, and shares are logged. Export as CSV or stream to your security tool.
-
Your data stays yours
: transcripts are never used to train a model and never sold. Delete a flow and its transcript goes with it.

Asked often
-
Do I have to record the call?
No. Wavelength listens through your own microphone while you talk, or you paste a transcript afterward. It does not join meetings, does not dial in, and does not record the other party.
-
Which AI does it use?
Wavelength uses open-weight models on Groq: gpt-oss for structuring and Whisper for speech to text. Zero data retention is on for our Groq account, so Groq does not keep your inputs or outputs, and we never use your content to train any model.
-
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Five saved flows, no credit card, with live diagram building while you talk, and 30 mic minutes per month. Starter is $4.99 per month with 4 hours of mic time, Pro is $9.99 per month with 10 hours of mic time. Your 7 day Pro trial includes 60 mic minutes.
-
Does Wavelength work in Microsoft Teams or Google Meet?
Yes. The Wavelength Chrome extension is available now on the Chrome Web Store. It opens a side panel beside any meeting tab, including Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom on the web. Hold the mic, talk through the process, and the diagram builds as you speak. It is included on every plan, including Free.
-
How do organizations pay?
An organization pays for Pro per seat. Each seat costs $9.99 per member per month, or $99.90 per member per year. The owner buys the number of seats on one subscription. Each member up to the seat count gets the Pro plan.
-
How is this different from Lucid Process Capture?
Lucid Process Capture turns a screen recording with narration into a diagram. Lucid offers it on the Enterprise plan only, with a limit of 5 minutes per capture and 25 minutes per user per month (Lucid help center, October 2026). Wavelength builds the map live while people talk on the call, on every plan, including Free. After the call, you can also upload a transcript or an audio or video recording.
