Blended electro acoustic music

Dhamon is a French singer, songwriter and actor, living in the South of France. He's been playing the drums and the piano since he was a teenager. In his childhood, he was guided by the spirit of artists like Pink Floyd, Vangelis, Alan Parsons Project, Supertramp, BJH, and Ennio Moriconne. He wrote his first song at age 14.
In his first band, where he played drums, the pianist asked him to sing on a few tracks, and that's how the story began... In the mean time, he discovered the power of writing songs with a computer and a DAW. He'll never cease to work and put songs together after that.
He was very much influenced by the new wave and cold wave movements; Cocteau Twins and bands from the 4AD label for example. His creativity was also shaped by Kraftwerk and artists such as Peter Gabriel or David Bowie. He often found his inspiration in bands like Massive Attack, Jazzanova and Sade.
Obsessed by production, it took him two years to release his first single, D-Day, along with a short movie, more than a music video. He chose to join forces with a talented pianist in order to accomplish his work and concentrate on the singing. It's a very cinematic production with strings, French horns and massive percussion, mixed with electronic sounds.
