Welcome to NCCHP!
The NCCHP Museum was founded in 2007 to preserve and incorporate the rich history of Granville and the surrounding area. The museum is housed within the historic buildings of the Noble & Cooley Drum Factory. The buildings and original equipment at the site offer a unique opportunity to experience "Yankee Ingenuity" as it impacted manufacturing from the 1850's to today.
.
In 2026 the museum will be open for tours by appointment only on weekdays and weekends. Museum tours are still $5 for adults and teens and $3 for children under 12.
Please email us at [email protected] to set up a date and time for your tour. We will do our best to accommodate you!
What's Happening Next at NCCHP
Tuesday, September 29th
Judith Kalaora will perform her immersive living history program, Rachel Revere. It's the thrilling story of Rachel's trials to keep her children: six stepchildren from Paul's first marriage and a newborn baby of their own, from the reach of the British Army in during the siege of Boston.
Wednesday, October 7th
The final living history program of 2026 will feature Rick Spencer and Dawn Indermuehle singing tunes from the colonies, through the Revolution and into independence. The tunes may be familiar to some, though the words might not be as we know them today.
.
We need your help keeping living history alive and relevant at NCCHP. If you have a suggestion for a program, topic or artist, please email us.
NOTE: All NCCHP Living History events are free to NCCHP members and free will donations of $10 - $15 from other guests to offset the appearance fees are appreciated.
Our monthly programs are made possible in part by donations from the MA and Granville Cultural Councils, and donations from members and friends of the museum. Thanks in advance for your continued support!

NCCHP Membership News
NCCHP is looking forward to welcoming our friends, members and volunteers to take a step back in time again in 2026 for tours and monthly Living History events.
We appreciate the support of many loyal members and friends of the museum. Going forward we depend on membership dues to fund the monthly rent, insurance and upkeep of the museum space during the winter months. If you are a lapsed member or someone who would like to join the membership, please click on the SUPPORT button at the top of the page and select Become a Member. There are several membership levels and sign up is safe and secure through PayPal.
Also, memberships make great holiday gifts (and the size is never a problem) so please consider this as another way to support the museum and introduce us to your friends and family.
Thanks in advance for keeping the NCCHP museum and it's mission alive. Hope to see you and your families at 42 Water Street in the near future!
We Got a Facelift!
With grants from Granville's CPC, and your support, the museum building got a much needed facelift. We are a National Historic registered building and had the clapboards replaced and painted to match the original facade. Check out pictures below!
We were only able to budget doing the front of the building in 2023. With your help we can fully refinish the sides of the building as well. To help contribute to the project click here to donate to the cause.
