Ancient Earth-Loving Feminine Wisdom

The old patriarchal and capitalist ways are harmful and dying.

It’s time for something new.

Introducing WitchSchool.ca from Canada — a way forward that’s rooted in ancient earth-centred feminine wisdom.

At WitchSchool.ca, our mission is to empower our students and equip them with the tools, knowledge, and earth-centred spiritual foundation for positive personal and social transformation.

Alumni develop a grounded sense of self, a deepened connection to the Sacred Feminine and Earth, and a commitment to taking a more active role in environmental and social issues — unique to their passion and strengths.

Because being a Witch is about more than looking "Witchy."

WitchSchool.ca knows that being a Witch is about more than pretty altars, sparkly crystals, and #witchtok spells.

It’s for you if you’re ready to:

  • Step into deep intimate and spiritual relationship with the ancestral, cosmic, and natural ecosystems inside and around us.
  • Remember & embody ancient earth-centred feminine wisdom in today’s modern world.
  • Honour your unique mission and role as an activist and cultural change agent, in service of Mother Earth.
  • Know, in your brain and your bones, how powerful you are, and hold the know-how and responsibility to wield it.

WitchSchool.ca teachings focus on 5 key pillars:

Nature-Based Spirituality

At its core, WitchSchool.ca embraces the nature-based spirituality of the North.

It encourages individuals to reconnect with nature, understand the elements — Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit — and explore the profound connection between humans and the earth.

This approach is rooted in the belief that by reconnecting with nature, we can heal ourselves and the planet.

Goddess Mythologies and Archetypes

WitchSchool.ca explores a variety of Goddess mythologies and archetypes from different cultures around the world. These stories help students:

  • Connect with the Sacred Feminine;
  • Unearth its inherent relationship with the natural world;
  • Discover the unique qualities and wisdom these archetypes offer.

This knowledge is a foundation for personal growth, specifically helping us to access and develop our relationship with feminine energies and powers.

Ancestral Ceremony and Ritual

Participants in WitchSchool.ca learn to create and participate in rituals and ceremonies that are rooted in their own earth-centred ancestral traditions.

This approach helps individuals:

  • Embrace their heritage;
  • Connect with and understand their lineage;
  • Adapt ancient practices to modern contexts.

So they can harness their past in a way that illuminates their path going forward.

Intuition and Personal Power

WitchSchool.ca places a strong emphasis on developing intuition and personal power. Participants learn to:

  • Trust their inner knowing;
  • Enhance their intuitive abilities;
  • Harness their energy for positive change.

This knowledge empowers individuals in mid-life to make better choices, develop leadership skills, and effect positive change in their lives and communities.

Community Building

WitchSchool.ca provides a supportive and intergenerational community.

It offers a space for like-minded individuals to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.

Alumni often continue to support one another and form affinity groups based on shared interests.

A Unique Approach to awakening & teaching

WitchSchool.ca teaches the basics of modern feminist Witchcraft in a way that allows students to awaken and explore their own earth-based spiritual path in community.

Teachings are designed to help students connect with their inner wisdom, develop their intuition, and create a strong bond with the natural world.

Curriculum & Course Outline

The curriculum is rigorous. It covers a wide range of subjects, from Feminist archaeology, anthropology, ancestral traditions and herbal magic to spellcasting, tarot reading, divination, and more.

The curriculum is structured around three semesters, with the third semester focusing on leadership.

The course begins with twelve weekly Monday classes across two semesters, followed by two weeks of independent spell and ritual preparation. Students gather for their Leadership Rite of Passage on February 8, then leadership classes on February 22 and March 8. The course closes with a student-led Spring Equinox ritual on Sunday, March 21, 2027.

We promote a collaborative and creative approach to leadership, emphasizing the importance of nurturing a connection with the sacred feminine, our ancestral heritage, nature and the land.

For some, WitchSchool.ca is a starting point. And for the more seasoned Witches, it’s an opportunity to deepen their experience in an ongoing sacred circle that brings them into a wider Witch community.

Kiki Keskinen: Founder of WitchSchool.ca

As a child, I made potions, commanded the wind and cast spells in the natural, fantastical ways that children do – my intuition was alive.

When I turned 20 and joined a sacred circle with women who were twenty years my senior, I felt it again. These same women are now WitchSchool.ca’s elder Crones, advisors and faculty, but during those circling years together, they guided me as I deepened my Witch work for 18 years.

WitchSchool.ca was born of my rage and frustration when, in the Fall of 2016, during the U.S. Presidential campaign, the chant of “Lock her up” by Trump supporters left me keenly aware of the resurgence of mob mentality as it existed during the dark burning times of Witch hunts.

The persecution of those who defied patriarchal norms was not so distant. And I knew in my bones that it was time for the Feminine to rise and the interdependency between nature and humans must be pushed to the fore as we were re-learning from local Indigenous peoples.

My vision for WitchSchool.ca is that it serves as a spiritual backbone for mid-life activism.

WitchSchool.ca delights in offering a feminine spiritual basis for social activism, as well as ecological respect for Mother Nature and Her wisdom.
