We hit @TheRegister front page! Dylan talks infrastructure blast radius prediction and why AI-generated code creates new deployment blind spots. 'You cannot replicate production. You have to take into account what it looks like right now.'

Knight Capital lost $440M in 45 minutes due to planning failures. We used the CAIR framework to evaluate 3 AI planning tools. Only 1 scored high priority 👇 overmind.tech/blog/cair-fram… #DevOps #AI #Planning

Infrastructure teams: stop evaluating AI tools based on vendor demos. Use the CAIR framework instead: A 99% accurate AI making autonomous changes = low CAIR (high risk) An 85% accurate AI with human oversight = high CAIR (low risk) Position > accuracy.

We estimate a team of 10 wastes 20+ hours a week rubber stamping routine infrastructure changes. Changes they've approved dozens of times before. Your senior engineers shouldn't be gatekeepers for changes they know are safe. overmind.tech/blog/routine-c… #sre #Infrastructure
Why are your platform teams reviewing the same infrastructure changes every week?
