This repo provides the packages for devcontainer features, hosted for free on GitHub Container Registry.

The name of the repo follows the naming convention of the source repo :

• github .com/devcontainers/features
• github .com/frntn/devcontainers-features

This repository contains a collection of the following features :

• newman : command-line companion for Postman. Open source - Maintained and supported by community contributions.
• postman : command-line companion for Postman. Closed source - Maintained and supported by Postman.
• gitleaks : SAST tool for detecting and preventing hardcoded secrets to be leaked in git repo.

It requires npm so must use a container with nodejs installed first.

Simply reference newman package inside your .devcontainer.json.

Add the following files in .devcontainer.json file
