Show today’s date like an old black-and-white film
Today is a daily calendar screensaver that continuously displays today’s date as an intertitle from an old low-resolution black-and-white film. Film dust, scratches, jitter, flicker, and blur are animated throughout. Each film runs for 24 hours.
Features
- Switch date format between “Day, Month Date” and “Day, Date Month”
- Switch aspect ratio between Fill, 4:3, and 16:9
- Show a brief progress bar indicating the current position in the 24-hour film
Please Note
- On systems with multiple displays, the screensaver appears only on the main display
- To keep the screensaver active for an extended period, delay or disable display sleep in the Lock Screen pane of System Settings
- For security, it is recommended to set “Require password after screen saver begins or display is turned off” to “Immediately” in the Lock Screen pane of System Settings
