The vibe of this book is so sweet, and the design and illustrations are beautiful and engaging. The language is easy for a child to understand, and the text is readable by an older sibling reading to a younger brother or sister as well. I think we all know someone who could benefit from having this beautiful book. The story is clear, straightforward, and the perfect length.

As a nursing mama, this story just hits you. It’s such a special book about the bond a mama has with her baby. Love this book. The illustrations are beautiful and it’s a sweet story!

This is a fantastic book for toddlers! There aren't many kid friendly books about this process, so being able to show it to a toddler is really helpful. I love the illustrations and the fact that the book eases into the main topic. The fun facts at the end are also a nice bonus! I very much recommend this book if you're already in or thinking about starting this process. Five stars!

My 2.5 year old was fighting giving up night nursing and this book was great for her. She loved the tigers and she has an older sister like the tiger in the book. Big sis liked to read it too!

I love how the author presents the new routine to her cub by making sure she knows that the love and connection with her as a mom is unbreakable and unconditional. Learning new skills is part of growing and learning those skills from her mom and sisters created a bigger sense of belonging and trust. Love the art and the end of the book. I am sure my friends who are going through this process will love this book to help their babies say goodbye in the most respectful possible manner. Bravo Casey!

I bought the book because I know Casey and wanted to support her. I was not disappointed! The book has beautiful illustrations and a captivating story line. I can't wait to share it with my friends and family who are nursing. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my 23 month old who I was planning on weaning. I think the book is overall cute and well done but it wasn’t simple enough for my daughter to want to be engaged in. It was too long to really hold her attention too, so for that reason it’s probably better suited to towards older kids being weaned!

Love this book. Weaned my 17 month old with the help of this little book. I did a gradual weaning and at the final week or two, started reading this to her. I felt it helped for a gentle and understanding transition for her. Even at her age, I think she understood the message and would request it.

Story was boring for my 18month old s we couldn’t benefit much from it. The drawings are also not much attention catching for a toddler might work better with older children

Poor quality print - it's manufactured and printed by Amazon, but the paper is thin like standard A4 printer paper. The story is also too wordy, complicated and not engaging for a toddler.

Would not recommend. Especially given the hefty price tag.

Although it doesn't discuss natural weaning or gently stopping BFing for an actual human child, my LO really loved it and made that transition a bit easier. It focuses on love and family bonds which is great.

I searched the internet up and down for a kid friendly weaning book, all the other books seem to make you/ your child feel emotional, guilty, or fearful. But this book was a gentle approach for my toddler, who loved the fun facts at the end. Glad I found!! Perfect little book.

Lovely book that helped explain that animals no longer need mummy’s milk as they grow up. Great for starting a conversation with little ones about how the breastfeeding journey comes to an end
