Update on 7/1/24:

It's been less than a week since I first started incorporating this green juice into my morning routine, and I must say, the effects of it have been quite remarkable. I really have been very pleasantly surprised. I have way more energy, my skin is clearer and glowing (and I have a pretty good skincare regimen, but this juice took it to the next level, especially since the pre/probiotics in this are helping to clean out the gut which reflects directly onto the skin, healthy gut = healthy, clear skin). Also, I started taking this the week before the first day of my next cycle (the flow) and my normal fatigue during the week going up to it has gone way down. I feel so much more clear-minded and all around in a better mood. My cramps are even at a minimum. I usually need to take a Tylenol, but the cramps were so mild, it was manageable. I keep waking up and exclaiming, "The green juice!!" to my family in wonder because I haven't changed anything else really to prompt this kind of energy boost. I'm starting to think I *really* hadn't been eating my greens properly before this. I'm very glad to have added this as a part of my daily intake! Overall, very happy with this drink.

I just ordered this yesterday through Prime and it arrived this morning. I'm having my first drink/scoop of it now. I put ice in a cup, then the greens powder, and then filtered water, stirred with a glass straw and am having it as I write this review. All this to say, I don't know if these other people are plants or what. I just know I'm a real person, and I just simply don't understand the reviews saying this doesn't taste good. I did my research on this and was prepared for a not-so-great tasting drink just for the sake of health based on the reviews of it alone, and to my very pleasant surprise, this is the best-tasting green juice I've ever had. Even better than the freshly pressed juice you get at NY cafes. It actually has a slight sweet flavor to it (I got the Original) that reminds me of rice cakes (Asian desserts). It tastes better than some matcha I've had. I seriously don't know if people are so inundated with sugar in everything these days, but for me, this is a very tasty drink and I'm happy to add it to my morning routine. I will come back later to update on actual efficacy of the product itself, but I just wanted to write this review, because it is way better than what some of the other reviews have said about taste.

I love this powder! This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a green superfood powder that tasted green. I wanted something that tasted sorta grassy, sorta matcha-y. I went to Trader Joe's and wasn't really fond of the berry flavor option. I want my green superfood to taste green. This is perfect! Exactly that 'green' flavor I was looking for.

Don't expect this to be sweet. I admit I am the kind of person who will eagerly eat/drink anything for the sake of health, so for people who aren't quite like that, I'd advise against just mixing it with water like I do most of the time. I think vanilla soymilk or almond milk might be a good option for you folks. Personally, I think it tastes fine just mixed with water. It tastes much, much better than a wheatgrass shot. (I cringe after those and need a chaser.) I mix one or one half scoop with about 1.5 cups of water, drink it, then fill up my cup with water again and drink that until the water in the cup is clear and all the powder is gone. Some people have complained about it being hard to stir - I strongly disagree. All you need to do is put the powder in the dry cup first then run tap water/pour liquid over it. The powder dissolves quite quickly. I just gently stir with a chopstick and there are no clumps of powder floating at all ... and I'm using less than the recommended amount of water.

I've been drinking this either first thing in the morning mixed with water or after my workout with one scoop of Pure Protein 100 % Natural Whey Protein, Vanilla Creme, 1.6 Pounds mixed with water. The former, I enjoy way more than what I used to do - have a morning cup of crushed kale mixed with water. The latter is a delicious treat I look forward to each day! I'm still experimenting with amounts. I think half a scoop first thing in the morning and half a scoop mixed with the Pure Protein powder after my workout has been the best for flavor ... also, being a student I want to try to make this last the whole month ...

I've only been taking this a few days now, but I can already tell it's helping my digestive system immensely! I feel so much more energetic and alert during the day (in a healthy way ... please do not expect an ampy caffeine sort of boost). It does what I thought Activia yogurt was advertised to do (didn't have anywhere close to the results this is giving me). It feels amazing. I'm so glad I discovered this before law school starts. I was looking for something to supplement my health/immune system while also giving me an energy boost that wasn't entirely based on caffeine (this does have green tea in it though).

I feel a sustained energy throughout the day, more mental clarity, more stamina while exercising, and as one other reviewer mentioned ... a surprising boost to sex drive. Seriously. Totally unexpected. The first two days I drank this, I noticed my skin had a healthier glow. I was the only person to drink this before going out drinking with friends and I was the only one who didn't have a hangover at all despite all drinking the same amount of alcohol. Same deal with tummy troubles the following morning. I was the only one spared. Again, SO GLAD I discovered this before law school.

I'm very fond of the ingredients listed, and I love how easy it is now for me to incorporate green into my diet (seriously, the kale thing every morning sucked). I LOVE how affordable this stuff is for the fantastic quality you get. I love it so much I'm getting the 100-serving container next and I'm very confident this will be a staple for the foreseeable future. I love this stuff so much that I ordered another one this size just last night for my mom so she can try it too. She's experienced digestive troubles and is concerned about various other potential health complications ... if I could afford it, I would buy one for everyone I know. I think anyone can benefit from incorporating this into their daily diet. I'm thrilled with the results I'm seeing so quickly from this. I just hope that these effects are ongoing! I absolutely love these greens! Ordering more as I write this review.

Being a flight attendant I am exposed to nearly every germ you can imagine. Not only that, but there are many days where we are forced to buy food on the go. Eating out isn't always what it's cracked up to be, and many times can still leave you feeling like something is missing. That is where the greens come into play. I have tried several different flavors of this brand, and all have been quite good. The original is a little rough, especially if this is a new regiment for your daily diet. I really enjoy both the chocolate and the berry.

The chocolate I use in the mornings to mix with my chocolate protein shakes. Now don't get me wrong, you can still taste the greens in the protein shake but they become a very welcomed taste. At first when I began making these shakes it took a little getting use to for the flavor, but the way it left you feeling throughout the day was so good that it was worth it. I noticed that taking these greens every day was helping curve my cravings towards junk food, and I had a little more energy throughout the day. I definitely notice less bloating and my digestive system loves them. After a while I began to wonder if it was a combo of the protein shake helping with all these great attributes, so when I ran out of the greens we gave it a month before reordering to test this theory. While the shakes were great on their own, the greens were definitely the source of the positive aspects I listed.

Now unfortunately I am often on the road and cannot make shakes every day. Nor do I want to wear out a good thing, so I decided to purchase the berry flavor. Now this flavor I use differently and I almost always mix it with Raspberry Emergen-C. This is my way of combating all the germs on the plane and keeping my immune system in balance so I am not getting sick every flu season. Let me tell you... it works! During my flight training almost every single one of my classmates got really sick from the long days, cold weather (27 degrees), and cafeteria food. However, I took this EVERYDAY (though at that time I was using the Original flavor with all different flavors of Emergen-C) and I was one of the very few that did not get sick. It really helps to give your body what it is lacking nutritionally on a daily basis. Between flying and having IBS, it has been a struggle keeping my digestive system and dietary needs in balance; I truly feel that this has made a difference in keeping my system moving and obtaining the nutrients I need.

I'm a 30 year old male and my wife and I are honestly total health freaks. A good greens powder is a staple to every diet. There are already a ton of reviews on here about how high quality this powder is and that it makes you feel wonderful (which I agree although you really need to take it for about a month before you really feel any physical changes as it has to actually become part of your diet).

So, instead I just wanted to comment on what a lot of people are complaining about that rated this powder poorly: While a lot of positive reviewers say to mix this powder in your shakes to cover the really bland taste, I found that to be inconvenient because I take this 3 times a day and don't always have the time to make a shake. Instead, just flavor it with a tiny bit of stevia. Seriously, that's it!. Stevia is a natural, zero calorie sugar substitute that actually has health benefits and no adverse effects like every other sweetener. It really helps bring out the flavoring in the powder and the sweetness over powers the blandness. All Natural Stevia Powder - No fillers, Additives or Artificial Ingredients of Any Kind - Highly Concentrated Stevia Extract Sugar Substitute (125g) is what my wife and I have been using for the past several months but really any stevia would do (we like this one because it's natural unlike some synthetic ones, it's inexpensive, and it has the highest stevioside content that we've found which is the measure of quality).

If you are new to greens superfood powders then you're pretty much guaranteed to hate the flavor of these powders without the stevia and if you're a veteran, you'll thank me for making the shakes even better '

By the way, we go through so much Amazing Greens that we just stock every flavor in our kitchen. The stevia makes every flavor better.

Here's a little tip once you know how much stevia you like: Just put a few grams of stevia in the Amazing Greens tub right when you open it and shake it up a lot! The stevia will blend in perfectly so you don't have to keep spooning stevia into every shake. OR, put the stevia in a salt shaker

So these were the things I was looking for in a product and was very excited when I found all of these wonderful ingredients in one superfood powder! Amazing Grass Acai & Goji Green Superfood Berry Powder!

1st - The taste *** out of ***** - It isn't terrible or non drinkable. Its 100 times better than drinking raw spirulina powder & water. I mix it with Mio or Crystal Light and its pretty good. The Powder mixes easily in liquid. Its still a little grainy in texture but it doesn't bother me.

2nd Its a small container with a scoop included, just shake it around and it will surface. 1 serving is 1 scoop. 1 scoop = 2 teaspoons Its amazing how such a small amount can go such a long way!

NOW THE GOOD STUFF

3rd THE BENEFITS!!! My experience Only! 1 scoop a day!

1. It keeps me full for about 3-4 hours. No hunger pains or sweet cravings. I drink it with 6oz of water then chase it with 20oz of warm water.

The energy lasts a while but it Depends on the day and how active I am. If I am very active it helps me keep going and going and the feeling lasts a long time, 4-5 hours. That's with high activity, sometimes longer. There is no crash or anything. I don't feel tired after the 5 hours but there is a slight decrease of energy but the positive mood and focused feeling last all day for me.

I take it a 1/2 hour before my workouts and I have strength and endurance. EXAMPLE - I try to do planks for core strength and I can't hold it more than 5-10 seconds. During my 1st workout after taking this I was amazed that I held it for 30 seconds. For a big girl like me thats amazing. So endurance yes, energy yes! And after the workout I wasn't tired or ready for a nap. I still had energy.

I find things easier to do when I take this. Even cleaning the house is easier, I'm not constantly thinking OH I HATE DOING THIS. I just get it done.

I know we all get tired around 3 pm. A few days ago I didn't sleep well and by 3pm I was nodding off and felt like I needed a nap. So I was like OKay I'm really tired right now lets see if this Stuff really works. I had 1 scoop with water, and then chased it with a big cup of room temp water. within seconds the tired feelings were all gone. I felt wide awake and was ready to go. No more nodding or yawning. TIPS!!!

Drink a lot of water with this, Spirulina makes your stools hard but drinking a lot of water will help. 8-12 8 oz glasses of water a day, very easy to do. Plus drinking 16 oz of water right after you take it helps get it into your system faster. I find warm water to be the best because that alone simulates & lubricates your intestines.

I am tracking my results so when I lose more weight I will post pictures and update on my results.

In the quest for the ultimate health elixir, I stumbled upon “SuperPower Green Mix,” a concoction of barley grass, wheatgrass, chlorella, organic acai, and green tea extract. It promised to fight inflammation, boost my immune system, and perhaps, transform me into a superhero. Spoiler alert: I’m still waiting for my cape.

First off, the taste. Imagine mowing your lawn, collecting all the clippings, and throwing them in a blender with a splash of acai to pretend you’re fancy. Voilà! You have “SuperPower Green Mix.” It’s the kind of flavor that makes you question your life choices and long for the simplicity of water.

Despite the challenging flavor, I soldiered on, driven by the promise of antioxidants and superhero status. After a week of daily doses, I didn’t quite turn into Captain America, but I did notice some changes. My immune system felt stronger—no sniffles, no sneezes. I also felt more energized, like I could tackle a mountain or at least a tall hill.

The inflammation-fighting properties are real. My knees, usually protesting like creaky old doors, felt less like they belonged to a senior citizen and more like they were merely middle-aged. It’s like WD-40 for your joints, but from plants.

I bought Amazing Grass to mix in as part of an energy drink for a healthy snack or recovery after a long run, and also just as a supplement. The reviews are wonderful and the price wasn't too bad, so I bought the Chocolate variety for mixing with unsweetened Almond milk and Plant Fusion protein powder. Sometimes when I'm hungry and need the drink to be filling, I also add a dollop of peanut butter.

So, the taste. I've never tasted wheatgrass or any other "superfood supplement" and I can only imagine that they taste like vomit, as people count Amazing Grass as one of the better tasting drinks of its kind... while I find myself doing all kinds of flavor mixing just to be able to tolerate a single scoop in ~ 16oz of liquid. It smells and looks just like the henna you use to dye your hair! It tastes like hay, like barnyard dried grassy hay. Not super unpleasant, but not something I'd imagine someone would choose to eat if it didn't come with other, larger benefits. I cannot detect any cocoa flavor in it. It says cocoa on the ingredient list, but it's pure grass in flavor.

The physical results: I'm not sure. I've been drinking one serving a day for a month now, and it's very hard to say if it's done much on its own. I've definitely benefited from eliminating dairy from my diet (which I did concurrently with starting Amazing Grass) and I'm confident the probiotics are healthy for me, but I don't feel any extra energy or anything like that. Nor did I expect to, since none of the ingredients are those that would give the average person's body an actual short-term boost. When I recently went on vacation and forgot to bring any with, there wasn't any difference in my daily energy or feelings of health, though I started right back up upon returning home.

Now after 30 days of use, when it came time to reorder, I thought about it carefully and I realized I'm pretty happy with the way I'm feeling these days and in case any part of that came from the addition of Amazing Grass, I'm purchasing another container. This time I've ordered the non-flavored stuff, since it was less expensive and I've been adding a teaspoon of cocoa powder to my drinks anyway to help mask the hay-like henna flavor. I guess now I'll see if the minimal amount of cocoa they put in the chocolate variety had any flavor to it!

Since the above review I've been using the unflavored Amazing Grass and haven't noticed any taste difference between it and the chocolate once it's mixed into my vanilla almond milk. I've completely gotten used to the taste and the grassy hay flavor has become very normal to me, so I no longer need to mask it with a lot of cocoa powder unless I'm in the mood for chocolate. Overall I feel kind of like I do when taking a multivitamin: I can't feel any immediate difference, but I believe it's rounding out my diet in good but subtle ways, so I'll continue to take it.

Bought this based on the overwhelming majority of excellent seemingly unpaid reviews (thanks fellow shoppers!) and must concur with the majority.

I have now worked my way through 2-3 of the full size jars, which we put on Subscribe & Save, after initially trying the smaller jar. So...I don't work out regularly, partly because it just ain't my bag and partly because I have little free time...and partly because I'm tired ALL THE TIME and it's a vicious circle. You're lethargic so you don't work out so your metabolism slows so you stay lethargic so you don't work out so your metabolism....on and on.

Went to a GP and then to an endocrinologist who suspected hypothyroidism because I'm female/tired/losing hair but too young to be losing hair/cold all the time/retaining weight even on ultra-low calorie intake/dry skin, yada yada yada. But the thyroid test comes back negative whilst meanwhile I want to lay down and die now and then. They gave me uppers, but though it makes me 'normal' ( not speedy, just how I used to be when I was normal) I don't want to be chained to Big Pharma if I don't hafta be.

So I bought this. I bought chocolate flavor despite not caring for chocolate because it seemed to be one of the best-reviewed in terms of mixability and flavor...not tasting like a bag of lawn clippings. It is a VERY fine powder that smells of cocoa powder with a hint of...lawn clippings. I bought a carton of chocolate almond milk to mix it into, since chocolate-on-chocolate seemed strategically sound. Do yourself a favor and buy one of those shaker cups with the flip top and the wire mixing ball inside. Stirring with a spoon is tiresome and lengthy and results in grittiness unless you want to devote a half hour to the task, which you don't. Do yourself another favor and put the liquid in FIRST. And only THEN add the powder. If you put the powder in first, you will never get it all off the bottom, where it will stay, hard and defiant and a waste of dollars.

I sipped gingerly, expecting grass flavor. But although you will not mistake it for Nestle Quik, it is not bad tasting in chocolate milk. I'm telling you. If I can drink it you can. I'm the world champion of dubious eaters. Try it. It grows on you, too. At first sip I thought...well, I can choke this down...I guess. Now I care not, though I do keep it in the blender cup so I can reshake as desired ( I'm picky about texture too and eventually it does settle out). Use more liquid than recommended if you want to hide the taste/texture even more (I do).

So as I sat on the couch staring at the wall reflecting on what might have brought me to this sad state of drinking chocolate grass out of a gym rat bottle, I actually noticed, within twenty minutes of the first sip....HEY. I feel awake. Not high, or amped up like I just took phentermine or a load of caffeine, just...alert. Is that the same wall I was staring at? Why was I tired? Is there time before I have to leave the house to put in some laundry and wipe down this leather couch that the dogs keep befouling with their muddy feet? Where ARE the dogs anyway? They could use a wash too, since the couch is about to be clean.

I felt normal. I have no testimonial about how much weight I've lost or how glorious my skin looks or how much weight I can bench now. I'm sure if you were normal to begin with you might achieve some of that. I was just looking to not feel like a zombie, a potted plant, and that I definitely got.

When I do NOT take it I DO feel a difference. I then recommended it to my husband, who does work out regularly, and firmly in the no-hippie-lawn-clippings-for-me category. He would not add even a pinch to his workout shake. I made him sip mine one morning on the promise it did not taste like dirt or grass. He said it wasn't bad.

A short while later he confessed he had subsequently added a SMALL scoop to his workout drink and d@&$ if he didn't feel more alert and had more stamina that morning. Since then, he uses more than I do.

For alertness and energy with no crash and no jitteriness, this is your daddy right here. Is it unfortunate that it's made out of vile green things that you have to hide to keep from gagging? Yeah, maybe. But you CAN hide it, so pick up the small size and see for yourself.

It's very competitively priced here, btw. Our local grocer wants almost as much for the smaller jar.
