My 8 year old son absolutely loves it and was excited to use it right away. It gives him that confidence at the plate, and it has performed well so far with good pop and a solid feel.
When you compare it to some of the more expensive bats out there, this one holds its own in both looks and performance. You are not giving anything up in terms of appearance, and for the price that is a big win.
If you want something that looks the part and performs well without spending a lot, this is a great option.
