Arts Exchange is evolving.

What began as a curated NFT platform has transitioned into a design-led initiative exploring how real-world artworks, objects, and environments can be meaningfully tethered to verifiable digital layers, and how digital works can extend into material presence.

Moving forward, Arts Exchange is focused on developing bespoke physical and digital infrastructures. This includes integrating authentication systems, embedded technologies, and decentralised records to support provenance, continuity, and long-term cultural memory.

Important note: We are no longer operating as an open marketplace. Original Arts Exchange works remain accessible and for purchase via Rarible. Artists can connect and access NFTs directly through their existing wallets. We acknowledge and extend our gratitude to O2A and the Rarible Protocol, which provided the decentralised foundation that made the first iteration of the Arts Exchange platform possible.

In 2023, Arts Exchange delivered one of Australia’s largest hybrid physical–digital exhibitions, Women in NFTs: The Emerging Digital Frontier, presented in partnership with Urban Screen Productions, Fed Square, and Bunjil Place in Melbourne. The exhibition demonstrated the potential of combining physical space with digital provenance to create new forms of visibility and engagement for artists. That experience now informs our next phase.

Arts Exchange operates at the intersection of design, technology, and cultural stewardship. Our focus is on thoughtful implementation rather than rapid scale. We are interested in how emerging technologies can responsibly extend creative practice, support authorship, and strengthen the continuity between material work and its digital record.
