The countdown is on – Shrewsbury Town's Open Day is now just six days away.
Excitement is building at the Croud Meadow as we prepare to welcome supporters back for one of the biggest and most eagerly anticipated events in the club's calendar.
Taking place on Sunday this year's family-friendly open day promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a packed programme of activities and entertainment for supporters of all ages.
Fans will have the chance to meet the first-team squad, academy players and the women's team, with players and coaching staff taking part in activities, signing autographs and posing for photographs throughout the day - with the vast majority of attractions free to attend.
The occasion will be even more special as the open day officially launches Shrewsbury Town's 140th anniversary celebrations, marking the beginning of a landmark year in the club's proud history.
The itinerary for the day is as follows:
Breakfast with the Players
The day gets underway at 10am with our popular Breakfast with the Players event.
This ticketed experience offers supporters a unique opportunity to meet Gavin Cowan's squad ahead of the new season while enjoying breakfast together.
Tickets are priced at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £10 for under-14s, with breakfast included.
Open day officially begins
The Open Day officially starts at 11am, with family-friendly activities taking place across the Croud Meadow.
From 11am until 2pm, supporters can meet the players and coaching staff as they mingle with fans, take part in activities, sign autographs and pose for pictures.
Manager Q&A
The day concludes with a Q&A with manager Gavin Cowan in the Sovereign Suite at 2pm giving supporters the chance to ask questions ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Tickets for the Q&A are priced at £6 for adults and £5 for concessions and under-14s.
Academy activities
It's not just about the first team, with the academy and foundation hosting a wide range of activities throughout the day.
Between 1pm and 2pm on the Community 3G Pitch, the academy will host two events.
On one half of the pitch, our Under-15s, alongside several Under-18 players, will take part in a live training session, offering supporters an insight into academy coaching and player development.
Meanwhile, the other half of the pitch will host an academy engagement session, where children aged 6-16 can enjoy a range of fun football activities.
Participants are welcome to join in for as little or as long as they like.

Foundation activities
The Foundation will also be running a host of fun and interactive activities across the Croud Meadow.
Penalty Shoot-out Challenge
Test your Shrewsbury Town knowledge in our football quiz. Every correct answer earns a shot at one of three goals, each worth a different number of points depending on its size. The supporter with the highest score will win a special prize.

Holiday Club Activities
Children aged **5-11** can enjoy a taste of our popular Holiday Clubs, which provide a fun, safe and inclusive environment packed with games, sports and activities.
Delivered by qualified and experienced staff, the sessions are designed to keep children active while building confidence, teamwork and wellbeing. The Open Day is the perfect opportunity to experience some of the fantastic activities on offer.
Inclusion Showcase
On the small pitches next to Smithy's Bar, we'll be showcasing two of our inclusive programmes.
The schedule is as follows:
* 10am-11am: ShrewsAbility (ages 5-12)
* 11.15am-12.15pm:ShrewsAbility (ages 13-18)
* 12.30pm-1.30pm: Women's Walking Football
