  • Flexible hybrid format (in-person + asynchronous learning)

Program Details

  • Program Length: 3 days (hybrid)
  • Program Dates: June 3-5, 2026 (In-person June 3-4, Asynchronous June 5)
  • Schedule: 8:15 AM – 3:25 PM
  • Location: Humble ISD
  • Lunch Provided: No

Teacher Experience

  • Explore block-based, physical, and text-based coding
  • Learn to integrate CS, cybersecurity, and AI into core subjects
  • Develop and take home ready-to-use lesson activities
  • Engage in hands-on, collaborative learning experiences
  • Align instruction to 2024–2025 Technology Applications TEKS

Eligibility

  • Open to educators teaching grades 6–8
  • Must work at a Texas school serving middle school students
  • No prior computer science experience required
  • Must bring a full-screen device (laptop, Chromebook, etc.)
  • Ability to participate in all workshop components

Class Schedule
