Well, Kevin Williamson burned it all down and for WHAT? Exceedingly disappointed by this by-the-numbers faux-stalgic “trauma” dump that ended with such incoherence! I fear Scream has become a victim of its own success providing no twist you couldn’t see coming miles away and with minimal scares let alone originality. 

To quote Anna Paquin in Scream 4: “I can’t do it.  These sequels don’t know when to stop. They just keep recycling the same shit.  It’s all so predictable, there’s no element of surprise, you can see everything coming!”
