I really enjoyed this adaptation. The changes from the book serviced the story well. Sally and Lewis were fantastic and had great chemistry. Lewis really made Cameron more likable. Would watch again.

Of course Joaquin and Reese are incredible in this but you have to give credit to Ginnifer Goodwin and Robert Patrick as well, who deliver career-best performances. This is one of my favorite biopics of all time and the ones made nowadays never seem to match up in my opinion. I didn’t even know who Johnny Cash was when this movie came out in 2005 (I was 10) but it was captivating even then, and I’ve watched it half a dozen times since then.

I was so ready for this to absolutely wreck me and it just… didn’t quite get there for me! I feel I needed a little more chemistry/passion/longing between Nora and Hae Sung. It seemed like he definitely liked her more than she liked him. It wasn’t until the very end when she broke down that it really felt like she was losing something. Besides that, great cinematography, editing, and very solid directorial debut for Celine Song

Sexy hot gorgeous farm boy Hayden Christensen is the only man who could make me not really give a fuck that Jessica Alba was also in this movie.
