Creating Content That Helps Our Community Learn Together
Question
Guidelines
Great questions are clear, concise, unique, and include all the necessary information another member needs to help guide you through the learning process. Great askers ask questions that add value to Brainly by bringing up subjects that have not been explored on the site yet. Here are a few guidelines on how to ask a great question:
Complete
- Asks a clear question
- Contains all information that is necessary to solve the problem
- Includes attachments and text as needed
Organized
- Is structured and flows in a way that will make sense to other learners
- Is properly formatted to ensure readability
- Is not confusing and makes sense to a general audience—if you're not sure, have a parent or friend read it over before posting!
Unique
- Is a unique question to Brainly. Do a quick Brainly search to make your question hasn’t already been asked. (If it has, you will be guided to the answer right away!)
- Is not copied from another website
Correct
- Is categorized in the correct subject matter area
- Includes all the correct details and is free of typos and other errors
Friendly
- Remember to say please and thank you, instead of demanding an answer
- If you need clarification, please do so with respect for the person helping you - we’re all working together here!
Answering
Guidelines
Great answers don't just answer the question, they also help members understand why and how you arrived at the answer. A great answer will be clear and use friendly, positive language without distracting from the answer itself. Here are a few guidelines for providing a great answer:
Complete
- Answers all parts of the question
- Includes thorough explanation of how you arrived at the answer
- Includes attachments if necessary
Organized
- Is logically organized and provides step-by-step instructions where necessary
- Uses structure that is specific to the subject and includes helpful formatting
- Includes keywords from the question to make the answer easy to follow
Unique
- Is not copied from another member
- Is not copied from any other source (like another website)
- Does not link to any outside sources
Correct
- Is factually correct
- Is free of spelling and grammatical errors
Friendly
- Uses language that is kind and respectful of other Brainly members
- Uses language that is appropriate to the corresponding age-group and grade level of the question
