CardioX Inc. Established 2018
Research & Development

Cardiovascular and physiological intelligence, engineered for partners.

CardioX develops sensor fusion technology through laboratory and field research, and licenses it to companies building products across consumer wellness, fitness equipment, regulated medical devices, and research instrumentation.

Three modes of investigation.

CardioX is an active research and development company. Our technology is grounded in measurement science conducted across three distinct research modes — each producing knowledge that informs partner integrations and supports their regulatory submissions where applicable.

Laboratory
Lab research

Signal processing, sensor fusion algorithms, AI baseline modeling, hardware engineering. The work that builds the underlying capability.

Field
Field research

Validation under real-world conditions — athletic exertion, longitudinal physiological tracking across diverse populations, extreme environments, sport-specific protocols.

Applied
Applied research

Translation of measurement capabilities into specific applications. Defining what measurements matter for each use case and how to deliver them reliably.

Sensor fusion, time-aligned.

A unified sensor fusion architecture for cardiovascular and physiological monitoring. Synchronized multi-modal capture enables measurements that no single sensor can produce in isolation.

The core architecture combines multiple sensing modalities aligned to a common clock. From this synchronized stream, the fusion engine derives Pulse Arrival Time, orthostatic hemodynamic response, vascular adaptation trend, body composition, heart rate variability, recovery curve modeling, autonomic function assessment, and arrhythmia detection.

An adaptive AI baseline models the individual user over time. The reference is the user's own physiological signature, not a population average.

The same architecture supports consumer wellness products, regulated medical devices (when partners pursue certification), fitness equipment integrations, and research instruments — a single measurement framework with multiple expressions, configurable per partner application.

Dual-use technology. Partner-determined regulatory pathway. CardioX itself does not pursue regulatory clearance; partners certify the products they build.

Four application areas for partners.

CardioX licenses technology to companies building products in distinct application areas. Each comes with its own commercial structure, integration model, and partner-defined regulatory pathway.

Consumer wellness
Consumer products — wearables, handheld devices, and connected health platforms — focused on performance, recovery, longevity, and general health monitoring. Non-medical positioning. Partners build branded products and reach consumers and B2B sports / fitness customers.
Fitness equipment integration
Embedded sensor modules in cardio, resistance, and recovery equipment — including treadmills, indoor bikes, rowers, ellipticals, recovery systems, smart-home and smart-gym products. Hardware module + SDK + co-design support.
Regulated medical devices
Partners pursuing FDA clearance, CE MDR, PMDA, NMPA, ANVISA, or other regulatory pathways for medical devices using CardioX technology. CardioX provides the underlying technology and supporting research data; partner pursues clearance and brings the certified product to market.
Research instrumentation
Universities, research institutions, sports science labs, performance teams, clinical research organizations. Hardware access, signal data, scientific support, collaborative publication paths.

Clear roles, structured engagement.

CardioX develops and licenses the technology. Partners build the products. The division of responsibility is explicit — and so is the engagement process for serious counterparties.

CardioX role

We provide the technology and the science.

  • Develops sensor fusion technology, signal processing, and AI models
  • Provides hardware reference designs, modules, SDK, and API access
  • Conducts foundational research and shares results within license scope
  • Supports partner integration with technical resources and co-design
  • Licenses with appropriate territory, application, and exclusivity terms
Partner role

You build the product and own the market.

  • Builds end-products using CardioX technology
  • Defines product positioning and target market
  • Pursues regulatory clearance in their jurisdiction where applicable
  • Sells products under their own brand
  • Holds the primary customer and end-user relationship

An R&D company built around measurement.

CardioX Inc. was founded by an experienced team with backgrounds in signal processing, AI modeling, hardware engineering, and physiological measurement.

Founded in 2018, CardioX Inc. has built a working sensor fusion platform through years of dedicated research and development — and an ongoing program of laboratory and field research that continues to refine the technology and extend its application range.

Our role is to do the foundational measurement science and license the resulting technology. The companies that build end-products handle the regulatory, commercial, and customer dimensions of bringing those products to market.
