Get Certified in 2025
The Get Certified program is a no-cost program built specifically to help you build and show off in-demand skills. It requires up to ~9 hours of learning time per week, depending on your Google Cloud expertise. Are you ready?
We understand that everyone has different levels of experience and time availability, so please consider if you would be able to commit before you sign up.
You will be waitlisted until your application is reviewed and confirmed for an upcoming edition. This program is exclusive to Google Cloud customers, and registrations must be made with a corporate email address.
Note: To successfully participate in the program, your corporate email must have access to Google Workspace apps and features, including Meet, Drive, and Groups.

How do I update my application if my company email or desired certification track changes?
You’ll need to re-submit your registration, but don’t worry: that’s easy to do. Start by following the instructions here to remove your existing registration. Afterward proceed to https://cloud.google.com/innovators/getcertified and select “Apply Now” to register again. Complete all 3 steps with your new selections.
Who is eligible to participate in the Get Certified Program?
The Get Certified program has a thorough application review process. All applicants begin on a waitlist and are considered for admission by the Get Certified team. To start the process and receive the most relevant updates and information about the program, please use your work (corporate) email address to sign into a Google Account and apply to Get Certified. [If you run into an issue creating your profile, use your personal email to create a Google Account, then enter your work (corporate) email when applying to Get Certified.]
How do I drop off the Get Certified waitlist?
To remove yourself from the waitlist, please remove the Innovators Get Certified badge from your Developer Profile.
When will I hear back about my registration for the program?
The Get Certified program has limited seats. We review applications on a first-come, first-served basis and will update you on your status as soon as possible. Expect a response of your waitlist status shortly after applying. We will notify you of your final registration status no later than 7 business days prior to the start of an Edition.
What can I expect if I'm accepted?
If accepted, you will receive a confirmation email from googlecloud@google.com. Confirmations are sent on a rolling basis. About 7 days before the program kick-off, you will also receive an invitation at the business email you used to register from one of our training partners to save the date for the instructor-led class. Please note that your class assignment cannot be changed, and the session will not be recorded. Attendance is strongly recommended.

How to join:
- Join our Discord server: https://discord.gg/google-dev-community. If you're already a member, skip to step 2.
- On the left hand side, look for the #get-certified-announcements channel under the "Technologies" section
- If you can't see the channel on the left hand side, you can add it to your default view through selecting it in the "Channels & Roles" section. Once there, click "Browse Channels" and search "Get Certified" to follow.

Can I join multiple certification cohorts in 2025?
Yes, however, the Get Certified program has limited seats, so in each Edition we prioritize new learners over those who have already participated in 2025.
What is the Google Cloud Innovators program?
The Innovators program is part of the Google Developer Program and is the program for all developers, technical practitioners, students, and users across Google Cloud - including Workspace - to support your personal and professional growth.
How do I join the Innovators program?
You can join the Innovators program by first clicking Join the waitlist or Apply here, registering for a Developer Profile using your current work (corporate) email address, then filling out the required fields to become an Innovator and click the “Become Member” button. From there you will be prompted to finish your registration for the Get Certified waitlist and enter your organization name, corporate email, and choose your certification journey.
How do I control what e-mails I receive?
You control the e-mails you receive from the Innovators program by visiting the My Community section of your Developer Profile and clicking “View Settings” for Google Cloud Innovators.
What happens if I opt out of the program emails?
You can opt out of the program emails and will remain a member of Innovators unless you explicitly leave the program.
How do I leave the Innovators program?
You can find a “Leave group” button by visiting the My Community section of your Developer Profile and clicking “View Settings” for Google Cloud Innovators.
What happens if I update or change the information in the fields required to join the Innovators program?
You can choose to update or remove any of those fields from your Developer Profile after you’ve joined the program without affecting your membership status.
