Yesterday, shipping rates on eBay for rural locations went up by almost 80%. A package under 4 oz that used to cost me $5.50–$6.47 (which was already way too high) is now almost $9.00. I advertise free shipping and have always been willing to absorb or write off the shipping cost, but at these rates, there's simply no return on investment. I currently have 600+ items listed, with thousands more waiting to be listed. How is anyone supposed to survive these kinds of increases?

AI descriptions are truly awful Bringing this back, since it really needs to be addressed by ebay. Great fuff filled details, nearly zero value to understand quality, details, true information about the item. Ebay, please correct this. "Accurate" descriptions are KEY to this market. 1 star to ebay, and 1 star to those who use it....without...their own description first Ebay, want to use AI....have AI scan the photos and question the seller, and add to the post...ie, "please commenton the discoloration or the scratches or there seems to be damage to xxx, can you comment."

Is there a way to cancel all bids placed by one buyer?

Reaching out in hopes an answer good be found to what would be a fair and equitable split if someone would do selling for me? Don't want to short change nor do want to do the sam eto myself.

As a seller, I have been experiencing a sudden rise in manipulation of the feedback system. In the past few months this is how the feedback weponization game is now being played. A buyer becomes disgruntled. Despite all efforts to help the buyer, (including actually providing a full and immediate refund) he waits until day 59 to leave negative or neutral feedback. Obviously retribution is the motive. But this is permitted under eBay's policies. Then there also is the escalation game. The buyer leaves a neutral. The seller does the 'request revision' routine, and explains to the buyer why his comment is inaccurate or less than deserved and politely requests revision or removal. Then the buyer immediately doubles down and refuses to remove the neutral feedback. Then there is escalation that is purely vindictive: The buyer complains about a used item they bought that was tested and proven to be good before shipment, but the problem lies in the buyer's ignorance to realize that the problem is not with the item. After my explaining their problem and trying to help them solve it, they go incommunicado and never ask for a return . They retain the item for 59 days, then blast you with negative feedback that is technically factually true, (that it "didn't work" for them) but obviously malice is their intent. So you again politely ask for revision or removal of the feedback. Then they double down and refuse, out of spite and vengeance. Yes, I can and do respond and state my feedback rebuttals factually and succinctly. I also block future transactions with them. But eBay's feedback policy is aiding and abetting slander/libel, and cares not one bit about potential damage to a seller's previous longstanding reputation. (Mine for over 20 years mostly was 100%, until the past few months.) Fortunately, more savvy prospective buyers might see through this vendetta game played by bad buyers. But not all potential buyers can or will. Is this feedback weaponization a new or increasing trend now?

It's been going on and on for months if not for over a year. Why do you insist on harassing me multiple times a day? I can't even tell you NO. Because if I could tell you NO that would put you on par with people they put in prison. You don't seem to understand. NO. I don't want $10! NO I don't want the app.

Hello. I have 2 orders paid a long time ago. The delivery is done. Positive feedback received. Ebay said funds would be released by Jyly 17th. That never hapened. I sent e-mail. They answered to wait 24 hours. Today Jyly 18th, funds still on hold. I sent a second e-mail. They answered to wait more 24 hours. How long could that last? For ever? They don't relase my funds, they don't send my money to my bank account.
