I have already tested out one iPad case already and this is my second one for this specific model.

I truly love how how it truly fits my iPad really great and that it also has a slot that will have the pencil covered once the entire case (keyboard attached) is closed. It's even sturdy and has a lightweight feel to it when the keyboard is on and/or off the case entirely. I have a pink iPad which let me go with the pink case which goes really great with the color of the iPad better than the last iPad case I was using. It works great for everything I need it to and when I want to just use my iPad as a secondary screen for my MacBook Air, it is great with the stand that folds for two different options for viewing pleasure.

The keyboard is totally amazing as it is detachable! It is even easy to pair with iPad, and unlike my last iPad case, it will add the battery life into the battery widget on the iPad so that way you know when your keyboard needs charged (on top of the light that changes when it needs charged). When typing on this keyboard the keyboard doesn't seem so loud as I type, which is great because I do not like a loud keyboard personally. It does not have a backlight, which doesn't really matter at the moment but was a plus with my other case.

Overall I love how it looks when I use my iPad over my MacBook, which also feels like I am using a smaller laptop. If you are looking for an iPad case that has great looks, an amazing keyboard that is also detachable, and that makes it not feel heavier than an actual MacBook then this is the case you need.

Protective case seems to be sturdy and well designed. The detachable keyboard is a nice enhacement to my iPad. It is held securely with a magnetic strip, but can be removed when I so desire. Good value for the money.

Very secure fit and keeps my new A16 iPad safe. Easy to set up and the keyboard is very responsive. The material underneath the keyboard is a bit of an issue being hard plastic. But if you are just using it in your bedroom it should be fine. I literally use the strong kickstand to sit it propped up so I can watch movies and shows while I’m sitting in the bath tub. It’s adjustable design and durability make it easy to switch back and forth between streaming, surfing the web, and drawing. The holster for my ESR Geo Digitial pen is a nice touch. Very secure.

Sadly the keys don’t have a backlight, but that model is just a couple extra Alexander Hamiltons ($10) and this is a good case/keyboard for those of us on a budget.

the case is sturdy, lightweight, fits perfectly and is well constructed with good quality materials. even though there is no pass-through charging, the keyboard charge holds up well. Easy to connect to the iPad Air and no need to repair once it has been paired. the only drawback - and this is driving me crazy right now - is that I keep touching the trackpad while typing and that moves the cursor to different places on the screen. That makes typing very inefficient. I wish ESR figured out a way to disregard accidental keypad touches.

Excellent option for iPad. Keyboard feels soft and is quiet. Easy to type. Track pad responsive and I love the convenience of the magnet to switch it just viewing. Works perfect in planes to watch movies and hotels to use as a small Mac.

Case is sturdy, keyboard is not laggy at all, buttons are nice. Stays charged for a couple weeks for me. My favorite I tried out of several. One thing to note, the stand on the back does not adjust much. Stays connected to Bluetooth no issue. The mouse is not super precise and sometimes you have to try multiple times before it goes over the area where you want to click

Keyboard lags slightly but overall very responsive, the case is well made and the mouse works great. Fits perfectly on my iPad Air M3(2019). Excellent value for the money

I’m really happy with this keyboard case for my iPad. It’s lightweight but still feels protective, and the magnetic detachable keyboard is very convenient when I want to switch between typing and tablet use. The setup was easy, and everything connected without issues.

The trackpad is responsive and makes navigation much smoother, almost like using a small laptop. I also like the different viewing and writing modes, they make it versatile for work, school, or everyday use. The blue color is a nice bonus and looks great.

Overall, a great accessory that adds a lot of functionality to the iPad without adding bulk. Definitely recommend!

El pedido llego antes de la fecha, y en excelentes condiciones. La funda le queda muy bien al iPad A16, el color me encanta, funciona perfectamente hasta ahora y muy fácil de enlazar el teclado al iPad. Fue una excelente compra estaba un poco indecisa pero fue la mejor elección.

The keys r fine. I would love more of the old style that looks like and sounds like a typewriter but these r fine. For work its better, light enough to carry and thin.

Basically got it when my previous keyboard stopped charging so my hope for this one is that it work for ATLEAST 2 full year 🙏 Anyways, i do agree with the others review about the touchpad being a bit slow but i truly dont feel like its too bad since i still manged to do quite alot with it and when you have a pen the touchpad just like an add on anyways. It did add quite a bit of weight or thats just me. The keyboard is satisfying and for me it has all the functionality you would need everyday. I just want it to last me years and that part only time will tell. The packaging was also decent btw, could be better protected. Oh and I do like the colour but keep in mind its a bit eye catchy.

I bought this to temporarily substitute my iPad Air for work short term while my MacBook Pro was being repaired after an accident. I have used the floating magnetic ESR version and an older ESR keyboard similar to this but a bit bulkier, so this wasn’t my first.

This keyboard reminds me of my old Surface Pro 2. It’s adequate, compared to a laptop, and pretty decent for a tablet. The trackpad actually works and my only complaint is it is a bit loud when clicking. I found typing a bit awkward but you get used to it and adapt to any of its minor shortcomings over time.

Like that the keyboard is easy and quick to detach. The case overall feels durable and of good quality, but the keyboard magnetic connection feels a bit less sturdy than the rest. It’s durable, I just think after a few hundred pulls it might start to wear. I recommend people just take care when separating it, otherwise it will likely outlive your time with the iPad.

I used it for about a month to work with spreadsheets, presentations, and a bit of web browsing. It did the trick, now I use it as a secondary device more than I expected. If you intend to write frequently, say research papers or reports, creative writing, etc, or your iPad serves as your laptop, I’d recommend spending the extra $40 on the ESR Rebound keyboard, my daughter has it and I find it a bit more comfortable and easier to use. That’s more a nod to how nice that more expensive keyboard is, than a knock on this one. But you’ll be happy you did. But for casual or secondary use, or smart people on a budget this is a very nice keyboard case.

If there’s a trade off, I’d say maybe it’s not as protective as some of ESR’s shell/folio cases. I’d say that if most keyboard cases. This is a good value.

Bien, es de buena calidad y muy práctico. Particularmente me encanta que sirva como funda tradicional (que yo no tenía) y con stand, pero mi función favorita es poder quitarle el teclado, pues reduce el peso y el estorbo cuando no lo ocupas. Sin duda me gusta desbloquear las capacidades de una laptop con el teclado, el trackpad y IOS 26, personalmente odio escribir en el iPad y recurro siempre al teclado virtual tamaño iPhone. El teclado está bien, típico teclado delgado de laptop, el trackpad si me queda a deber un poco, no está mal, pero siento que no es lo suficientemente sensible y se siente un poco chafa, no resbala lo suficiente el dedo. Me gusta tener mi pencil siempre a la mano, bien protegida de caidas pero fácil de sacar cuando se necesita. En cuanto a emparejarlo funciona bien, tarda muy poco y es fácil, la batería es muy duradera, no lo uso tanto como pensé, pero aún así nunca lo he tenido que cargar, es importante no olvidar apagarlo. La funda es rigida pero el acabado gomoso suave, el teclado se pega con iman y es de plástico muy delgado y ligero que actua cómo cover de libro cuando cerrado. El stand funciona para pararlo o acostarlo dependiendo del lado que lo recargues, lo que es excelente para ver contenido o dibujar. Le agrega peso considerable al iPad (es que es muy ligero por si solo), pero sigue siendo poco y te acostumbras rápido. Si se usa sobre las piernas es un pco incómodo pues le gana el peso del IPad. Me hubiera gustado retroiluminación, o que utilizara los pins del iPad para un emparejamiento, carga y encendido más cómodo, pero supongo que eso se lo dejo a otras opciones o al oficial, sin embargo a comparar con otras opciones de ESR y sobretodo al de Apple, está es la opción que más se acomoda a mi uso y que no me costo un ojo de la cara por no tanta mejora. Por lo que es un gran precio.
