ERIC@FOLT:~$ CAT PROJECTS.LOG
Projects are where ideas become something real. Some solve a problem. Some exist because I wanted to learn something new. Others started as quick experiments and somehow turned into weekend projects. That’s usually how it goes.
Most of what I build revolves around Linux, WordPress development, open source software, networking, automation, retro computing, geocaching, geohashing, and the web. I enjoy creating practical tools that are useful, easy to maintain, and just plain fun to work on.
This page is a collection of those projects. Some are finished, some are still evolving, and a few will probably never be completely “done.” That’s part of the process.

ERIC@FOLT:~$ CAT STATUS.LOG
Most of these projects started because I wanted to solve a problem, learn a new skill, or simply see if something could be built. Some have become tools I use every day. Others are archived snapshots of ideas that taught me something along the way.
I enjoy documenting the process just as much as the finished result. Sometimes the failures are more interesting than the successes.
ERIC@FOLT:~$ ECHO $PHILOSOPHY
Technology is best when you understand how it works. Build things. Break things. Fix them. Learn something new, then do it all over again.
