Reviewable WhatsApp updates view with quick actions and revisit history

Description: Currently the "WhatsApp updates" button routes straight to the main dashboard, so users can't review the batch of recent WhatsApp interactions (last interaction changes, chat snippets, new contacts) as a discrete list. Two specific asks: A dedicated view/feed of recent WhatsApp updates where users can take action on each one (set a reminder, add a note, mark as followed up, snooze). Ability to revisit previously seen updates rather than having them disappear once the dashboard loads. User explicitly said they enjoy reviewing WhatsApp updates and would value either an "act on it" workflow or a "go back to it later" archive view. Related to the earlier "email digest of WhatsApp updates" idea but focused on in-app review and action-taking rather than email delivery.

Improve Groups Browser search, organization view & contact information

The Groups Browser only shows two options on the left side: Contacts that are not in any group, or All contacts This doesn’t make sense because most contacts are already inside a group. When contacts are imported (from LinkedIn, Instagram, Mobile, Email, Calendar, etc.), they are automatically added to a group based on the import method. So the current view doesn’t reflect how contacts are actually organized in the system. The current drag-and-drop method in the Groups Browser becomes very slow once you have more than 10–15 groups. You have to hold the contact and scroll through the full list to find the right group, which is inefficient when managing a large number of groups. Suggestion: Add a search function in the Groups panel and allow users to select contacts, search for a group, and then click β€œMove”. An undo button would also be helpful. Also would be helpful to have more information on the contact next to the name in order to categorize it easily.

Expose LinkedIn Profile Updates Feed via MCP

Description: Users want to use Claude/MCP to review and act on the LinkedIn profile updates shown on the Dex Home page, such as recent headline or job title changes. Currently, this data appears in the Dex UI, but the full list only loads as the user scrolls. Claude cannot reliably scroll through the page or access items that have not been rendered yet, so it only sees a partial list. This limits workflows where users want AI to screen recent LinkedIn updates, identify important contacts, and suggest or log follow-ups. Requested behavior: Add MCP support for querying LinkedIn profile updates directly, without relying on the visual UI. Ideally, Claude should be able to retrieve the full list of recent LinkedIn updates with pagination or date filtering. Possible MCP capabilities: Get recent LinkedIn profile/headline/job updates Filter updates by date range, company, title/headline keywords, groups, tags, or contact status Return the associated contact record and update details Allow Claude to create notes, reminders, or follow-up tasks from selected updates Example use case: β€œI want Claude to screen everyone who updated their LinkedIn headline recently and suggest who I should follow up with.” This would make the Home page LinkedIn update feed usable in AI workflows and remove the current limitation where Claude only sees the first visible portion of the list.

Two Product Feature Requests

It could be convenient to have Dex automatically send you a text when you arrive at a new location notifying you which of your contacts you are in close proximity to. For example, if I flew to Miami and allowed Dex to access my current location, I would like to receive a Dex SMS saying something like, "Welcome to Miami. Consider reaching out to these contacts, who are in the area..." This feature would eliminate the friction of users having to manually check who their connections are when they are in a given area. I recommend adding ann initial reach-out staggering option so that Dex does not remind you to reach out to your contacts based solely on when you initially imported them. For example, I uploaded all 750 of my contacts at once, and I would not like to receive a notification 6 months from now reminding me to reach out to the hundreds of contacts for whom I set a 6-month outreach frequency all in the same day. I would rather stagger the initial check-up outreach and then continue to reach out to those contacts on the specified 6-month frequency basis. Perhaps Dex could add an opt-in β€œstagger initial outreach” option.
