Design of the app

I cannot help but somehow the mobile design is always clunky, the layout is irritating and it doesn’t look very high end.. I love heartbeat don’t get me wrong. But High-End membership with a design that looks “old” …. could we get a cleaner or higher-quality design? (note: there is a feeling of when I see the symbols etc. that it is made to work, but no aesthetic… ) And please fix the layout issues..

Admin ability to view member group/offer join dates and post history from member profiles

As a community admin, I'd like to request two improvements to member profile visibility: Group & Offer join dates — When viewing a member's profile, I'd like to see the date they joined each specific group and offer, not just their overall community join date. This is especially useful for tracking upgrade conversions and understanding where members are in their onboarding journey. Post history on member profiles — I'd like to be able to see all posts a member has made directly from their profile page, without having to manually search through individual channels. This would make it much easier to review member activity and engagement at a glance. Both of these would significantly improve the ability to monitor member progress, personalise follow-up, and manage a growing community more effectively.

Notifications for "already scheduled" Events: New Members are clueless

I did a cursory review of “Event-related” feature requests, but did not find a solution. Several Events are scheduled A new member joins the Community Unless a new member proactively seeks-out “already scheduled” Events (AND RSVP’s to each) they WILL NOT be alerted or aware of these “already scheduled” Events. Even if a new member has their respective Notification settings optimized, they will only be Notified of Events created AFTER they have joined the Community (or those Events that they proactively sought-out and RSVP’d.)

Transcript of voice messages on mobile

Right now, the only way you can view a full transcript of voice messages is on the desktop version of Heartbeat. In the app, you can only see the first part of the transcript and there is no way to scroll to the rest of it like you can on desktop. Most of my members use mobile and we voice message back and forth, so this is essential.

Livid.com integration

Good news: Livid already works well on Heartbeat. Pasting a Livid watch link into your Embed block resolves to our full player via Iframely. I've verified this in-app and directly in Iframely's debugger, which returns a fully playable responsive iframe for our watch pages. We're oEmbed-compatible with complete Open Graph video metadata. The one remaining gap: Livid links pasted directly into posts don't auto-convert to a player the way YouTube links do. Since Iframely already handles us correctly, we're hoping that would be a lightweight addition on your end, maybe just including livid.com in your auto-embed link handling.

Innovate Heartbeat!

I’ve been a member of Heartbeat for over a year now. I Truly appreciate how the team keeps us in the loop with updates and feature requests. This whole AI blitz with Pulse and the landing pages, is cool, I guess. But the actual platform is so outdated. Can time and energy please be focused on the user interface? I’m thinking of going back to Circle, as their interface is crisp, clean, and modern, amongst other things. P.S., I work with creatives and artists, so yes, UX and overall design truly matter.

Change Login Destination

I would love to be able to add a setting to choose the default landing page after members log in (for example, Courses instead of the combined Feed). This would help keep course discussions course-specific and reduce confusion from a combined view. It’s really confusing as a member when I log in and all the feed from each course I’m in is strung together. I would prefer it to go to courses instead. This would be a lot less confusing for new members.

Customise onboarding text

It would be good to be able to customise the wording used for onboarding. Especially the final screen, it currently uses language I would never use [Only one thing left to do now. Start engaging with The Intuitive Cook now] - this really jarrs before they have even entered (this line is new, it wasn’t there 6 months ago) Also it seems the previously showing profile preview is now gone so people don’t know the onbaording questions appear on their profile!

Embedding Audio

My community is primarily breathwork and meditation audio tracks, and I find that the platform is not the most user friendly for this type of community. I have tried embedding audio from Dropbox, but to play it opens up outside of the app instead of just playing inside the app. It also looks clunky when accessing from the App instead of the Desktop. I’ve also tried soundcloud which plays directly from the app so this could be a better option for me except when I try to press play from the App (not desktop) it’s super clunky and not user friendly and I struggle to even get my music to play. The App needs to support these embedded audios better so its easy to just click play and drop in

Waitlist for over-capacity sign-ups

When I set a sign-up capacity limit on a course or event, I want to be able to capture additional interested prospects to a wait list. I could use the waitlist to fill the course or event if people drop out, or notify the waitlist of a new cohort or event etc The workaround now would be to have everyone sign up on the wait list, and then manually approve, say, the first 20 people who have signed up. I'm looking for an automatic way of approving those first 20, but then putting subsequent registrations onto the wait list with a notification.

Video Option for Mobile App

I run an acting training academy and need mobile video access for calls run within Heartbeat. Currently we’re having to add zoom links to host these calls externally. Tagged user can still see deleted comment in Android app

When a user is @mentioned in a comment and that comment is later deleted, the tagged user can still see it in certain views. Steps to reproduce: @mention a user in a comment on a post Log in as the tagged user on Android View the channel and locate the post (do not open it) Delete the comment as the original author Check the post card in the channel view Result: Deleted comment still appears on the post card for the tagged user.
