@contrarian Why do you want to configure DNS on the device? It's usually set in the .conf file, isn't it? What does your .conf file look like? Example: [Interface] PrivateKey = **** Address = 192.168.x.2/32 DNS = 9.9.9.9, 1.1.1.1, 1.2.3.4 <- DNS's what you like [Peer] PublicKey = **** AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0, ::/0 Endpoint = contrarian.ddns.net:51820 PersistentKeepalive = 25 I can suggest the following setup: Connect a Raspberry Pi running WireGuard VPN and Pi-hole behind your router. Keep the VPN always on for Ubuntu Touch and other devices. This is the best way to set up a secure smartphone for children.

I'm in North America, and I tested each ROM twice, as shown below. Global 10.5.5 ROM (from Joko's MEGA, bengalm_14_O.04_201221 mod.zip) => Installed 24.04 stable: Wi-Fi works, sound does not work Global 10.5.3 ROM (from https://onepluscommunityserver.com/ and modded) => Installed on 24.04 stable: Wi-Fi doesn’t work, but sound works fine. The OnePlus Nord N100 is a constant headache. What am I missing?

Tried it under 24.04-1.4RC, having the setting enabled does not hurt anything, so changing the application would not hinder it under previous versions. The setting was introduced way ago. I guess that it means that before the QT6 version of Morph, there was a bug in that the localContentCanAccessRemoteUrls setting of the QTWebEngine was not working. It's a classical case of a bug (in Morph browser) cancelling a configuration error (in duolingo). That's the secret of all working systems. As soon as you fix the bug, the system does not work anymore..

@ChromiumOS-Guy said: @lduboeuf it should be the standard alert presidential/amber alert sound in my opinion Ah hmm, you mean it plays a sound already ? @lsitongia said in How do Calendar Guests invitations work?: The default Calendar app event creation has a section named Guests. I can add people from my Contacts. It offers their email address for you to select for the field. I'm using a Calendar linked to my Nextcloud server. No email invitation is sent. I'm trying to see how this will work to a contact on an iPhone and their iCloud calendar. How is this supposed to work? By email, right? Do I need to configure an email SMTP server in the Calendar app? I don't see where to do that. Thanks for your help. I guess that it was the idea, having a system that can send RSVP and accept via email. But it never get that far.

@sixwheeledbeast said: Not had any major issues with the new version. Lots of improvements which is greatm My server doesnt seem to support push so not tested that. I'm not seeing any delivery/read reciept ticks is the only thing I noticed. Previous messages cant be read "could not decrypt" but I had that when I got logged out with the old version. Will let you know if I find anything going forward. Thanks for testing! It might be easier to communicate about this if you join the MUC at livewire@conference.agnos.is, especially with the forum login broken again. It would be good to dig into the receipt markers issue, because they work just fine for me. There are perhaps some lingering issues with a race condition where it doesn't load the ticks properly after sending a message sometimes, but they do usually show up, and should show up if you go out and back into the conversation. It would be good to find out if this is a client-side problem, a problem with your server (don't think it actually requires anything beyond PEP on the server), a problem with your contacts, or something with the app itself. When you say you don't see any receipt markers, is this in: Unencrypted 1:1 chats? Encrypted 1:1 chats? Unencrypted MUCs? Encrypted MUCs? All of the above? As for not being able to decrypt prior messages, that is by design in OMEMO, though I'm not gonna pretend the previous backend was treated correctly by the app lol (Libervia itself is stable, my use of it was perhaps not so stable).

@MR_K Sadly porting is done per device and it's not a trivial thing to do. It takes time and effort to make it work and to also maintain. Alsp, UT doesn't seem to be fit to your purpose. If you want to it as a server, postmarketOS is the better choice. There might even be a mainline for your device and you can just install it.
