news authenticator extension (also found here)

Instructions for Installation:

download or clone this repository
run python service.py to start the http service on localhost:80. (main.py is not the program, it is only a testing file)
navigate to chrome://extensions/ in your chrome or chromium based browser
Switch on developer mode in the top right corner
Select 'Load unpacked' in the top navbar and choose the folder ./extension folder in the download (should contain 'manifest.json' file)
refresh the extension and enjoy
