Do I need JavaScript or backend code?

No. A plain HTML form works with a normal POST request, which makes Form Plume a good fit for static sites, landing pages, Webflow, Framer, Astro, Next.js, React, Vue, and simple hand-coded pages. If you want an AJAX experience, you can submit JSON or use the client SDKs instead.

Is it safe for my form endpoint to be public?

Yes. Public form endpoints are how form backends work, but Form Plume does not ask you to expose a secret API key in the browser. Protection comes from domain restrictions, rate limits, honeypots, time traps, captcha support, abuse monitoring, and rotatable public form slugs.

How does Form Plume stop spam without losing real leads?

Spam protection is layered by default. Obvious bot traffic is blocked, suspicious submissions can be quarantined, and borderline cases stay recoverable instead of being silently deleted. You get cleaner inboxes without throwing away real customers by mistake.

What happens if I hit my monthly submission limit?

Form Plume is designed not to quietly drop real leads. You can see usage before it becomes a problem, upgrade when traffic grows, and keep existing submissions available even if a plan changes. Production teams can use the hosted overage path so a successful campaign does not turn into lost form submissions.

Can I send submissions to my team and other tools?

Yes. New submissions can trigger email notifications, autoresponders, signed webhooks, and integrations such as Slack, Discord, Google Sheets, CRMs, and automation platforms. The same submission is also stored in the dashboard so your team has a reliable source of truth.

Does Form Plume support file uploads?

Yes. Multipart forms can include file fields for resumes, screenshots, signed documents, photos, and other attachments. Files are stored in object storage, linked back to the submission, and kept separate from email delivery so large uploads do not break notifications.
