Is it ok to mess with the color and or transparency of any of these? There's a b/w piece that I really like, but I was hoping to colorize it, make it partially transparent, and make it some sort of multiply/darken/Color-burn type blend mode.

I was thinking all at once. If you physically print them in color or have the zine, it's supposed to look like a manilla folder stamped with the title, in universe. The connotation of the title is that these documents were never supposed to be digitized or copied so that they could be incinerated at a moments notice. That said, either way could work,depending on your campaign!
