A short documentary I made about the 2000 movie Wonder Boys, a personal challenger to myself to make a documentary about a film without using any material from the film.

The Door (2024)
Half short film, half proof-of-concept for integrating a found footage film with a traditionally shot narrative. I thought the split format would both ground and build interest in the viewer, while also being able to craft shots and move the story along at a normal pace.

Sleepwalking (2023)
A music-led exploration of the Pittsburgh Mills mall, including sparse footage I captured of it in 2018. I shot the newer footage on my iPhone as to not attract attention.

Ride the Ravine Flyer (2023)
Disaster, sequels and lawsuits. A mini-documentary about the troubled Ravine Flyer II rollercoaster in Erie, PA. I’m very proud of both the video and the research behind the project. There were very few reliable sources online and I resorted to searching through newspaper archives for a lot of what I discuss in the short.
