For the most part absolutely top notch performances, blocking and shadows, and sound design that had me dreading every moment
Director has an instant fan in me, although sometimes the editing could be jarring

a lot of these happened to a buddy of mine

sometimes you just want to sit down and watch awesome CGI Gorilla Kratos and Lizardheimer shake the theater. WB is slowly reducing the amount of human screentime but it's still too much, I think all the Kong scenes prove you can tell the story purely through the monsters.
