Yes! Every product we make is certified gluten-free and hand crafted in our very own dedicated gluten-free facility.

Are your products vegan?

Yes! Many of our productss are also soy-free, dairy-free, and non-GMO. Check individual product pages for more detail.

Do your products contain peanuts or tree nuts?

Most of our products contain nuts. We list all allergens on our packaging and product pages, so please check before ordering. We also, have a few products that are nut FREE —Cookie Bites and Oatmeal Raisin Bar.

Are your products safe for kids?

Absolutely! Our snacks are great for kids and adults alike — We are made for lunchboxes, road trips and after school treats.

What sweeteners do you use?

We use natural sweeteners like dates, maple syrup, and agave—no refined sugar here!

What kind of protein do you use?

We use high-quality, plant-based proteins like brown rice and pea protein in most of our snacks.

Do you use artificial flavors or preservatives?

Nope! All of our snacks are made with real ingredients you can trust—nothing artificial here.

Why did you change your recipe on some products?

We understand change can be hard. At The GFB, we’re always looking for ways to improve our products while staying true to our values. Over the years, we’ve updated some recipes to make them even more nutritious, or sustainable. These updates could include using cleaner ingredients, reducing sugar, or improving texture and flavor. Another reason for the change could be our commitment to sourcing the highest quality ingredients available.

What's inside The GFB products?

Everything we make starts with simple, natural, plant-based ingredients. Inside each Bar and Bite, you’ll find a base of nut and/or seed butters, dates, brown rice, and plant-based protein from brown rice and pea protein. Our Oatmeal is mostly, well, just certified gluten-free oats. No preservatives, no fillers, nothing extra, just honest ingredients that taste great and keep you going.

What is the shelf life of your food?

It’s 12 months for Bars and 10 months for Bites and Oatmeal. While they’re not unsafe to eat past the "best by" date, we think they taste best when they’re as fresh as possible and before they start to dry out. However, if you are ever disappointed, please let us know!

Why do you use agave nectar?

Our goal is to use simple ingredients to make ridiculously tasty, protein-packed snacks, and agave offers a blend of slow-release energy (low glycemic benefits), great taste, and less processing than many other sweeteners.
