Giving + recurring giving

• Give • Tell people: Post about it, tell your friends, tell your colleagues, text your family, post it on discord. Say that YOU gave. • Recurring donations ensure that Palestinians get reliable help. When sharing the fundraiser, ask people to make a bite-sized pledge, like $5 a week. • Idea: Pool funds among friends and send it together as one donation once a month or every two months.

Direct sharing: • Hand out the pre-made flyers at a rally, church, library, or social club • Put the pre-made QR code on party/wedding invitations • Text a groupchat; email family and friends • Run a fundraising drive with parents at your kids' school through WhatsApp • Pass a motion with your union to give Community-building: • Host a special meal: ask people to chip in a small amount and give that individually or together afterwards. Talk about Gaza. • Have an autonomous zone, student space, leftist hangout and maybe a restaurant who can donate some catering? Make it for the community. • Do a monthly pooled donation with friends. Post flyers at: • libraries • club meeting spaces • a local business, such as a restaurant (talk to them first)

Include a short goal: • Pick a short goal • Write down the starting amount on the campaign, the goal, and the progress (like 0/120). You can use the shareable donation card from ll4g to track donations in. • Pick a deadline (like 3 days) • Make a post: need, goal, deadline • Update progress once or twice a day

Other fundraising ideas

• Host an event online or in-person and ask for donation receipts instead of payment (lectures, panels, book clubs, workshops, poetry readings, recitals, skillshares, streams) • Sell at protest stalls, fairs, benefits. Here are some examples: zines, used books, printed open-source literature (e.g., essays), wildflower seeds, donated art, handmade crafts, greeting cards, baked goods. You can find a lot of public domain books & essays about Palestine on the Internet Archive. Some collectives have made printable zines, so you don't have to make anything new. • Sell digital and/or physical creative work & services (or anything else) in exchange for donation receipts • Run an auction or raffle with donated goods
