Hi, I’m Alp.
I’m a Computer Science student at York University with an Economics minor. I build web, mobile, and Python applications, with recent work spanning Next.js product development, React Native interfaces, algorithmic trading research, and accessibility technology.
01Selected work
Projects I’ve built
A mix of product engineering, Python systems, and accessibility work. Links point to live or public versions where available.
A local-first scouting workspace for football and basketball recruitment. It brings player search, shortlists, comparisons, notes, and CSV workflows into one responsive interface.
My contribution
Built sport-specific tables and profile views, transparent data provenance, browser-local persistence, import/export tools, and installable PWA support without requiring an account or paid service.
Algorithmic trading research
MalpariBot
A private Python research platform for paper execution, signal filtering, risk gates, model evaluation, and detailed profit-and-loss reporting after fees.
My contribution
Designed the system to default to paper trading, block live execution behind explicit readiness checks, reject trades that fail cost and risk gates, and keep proprietary strategy code private.
Accessibility technology
S.E.N.S.E.
A smart-glasses prototype combining AI voice guidance and hardware to support visually impaired users during micro-navigation.
My contribution
Led the interface design and built communication resources connecting the wearable prototype with its caregiver-facing dashboard.
A Python workflow for collecting listings, matching roles, preparing materials, and tracking applications.
