Adjusting to the new vision of Relite requires an upgrade to the $RELI token utility. Our team carefully analyzed the market opportunity and crafted new token dynamics to support the vision.

The token infrastructure will enable different activities in the ecosystem. $RELI will support NFT minting, distribution, marketplace transactions and voting new features and strategic direction.

Smart Contracts

New utility beyond the initial cross-chain lending and borrowing is possible in sync with the vision for the future of the Relite Ecosystem.

Repurposing contracts means flawless transition!

The staking contracts will enable access to PRO features both for marketplace functionality, onboarding customers and NFT minting incentives, making business and people interact seamlessly on the Web3.

The farming contracts are converted into support for the rewards mechanisms — claiming and distribution, alongside any other programmable interactions that will expand according to the long-term vision for the Relite Ecosystem.

A whole new set of smart contracts that need to work with the general e-commerce logic and product discovery.

THE BRIDGES

This is in the Relite core genesis concept after all and the bridges we already built are re-used and re-purposed. A part of Relite’s cross-chain approach, the ecosystem will enable NFTs to live on multiple chains, as customers desire.

Relite ecosystem will enable, customers to mint NFTs on Polygon and later port them on Ethereum or Binance network.

Buying NFTs and $RELI with debit cards & bank transfers

Creating the seamless experience for non-Web3 natives requires ON and OFF ramp connection to the FIAT world.

Businesses and consumers in the ecosystem and marketplace will be able to acquire NFTs and $RELI with:

We’ll be revealing more about the strategic partnerships that will enable all this swiftly via APIs.

Transactions-based revenue model

The Relite Ecosystem will generate volumes of business transactions through the marketplace where e-commerce NFTs and customers intersect.

Percentage (%) fees will be charged to various activities to support the future sustainability of Relite.

Fees and staking will span the marketplace, smart contract creation, minting & distributing NFTs, as well as upgrades for customers and their customers.

Users can buy or receive an NFT, and if RELI is in their wallet, they will get higher incentives and deeper discounts.

Lock-up of team and treasury tokens. Vesting

NEW lock-up and vesting schedules for the team and treasury are also set in place to establish healthy growth in $RELI price and adoption by users.

The new vision for Relite and NFTs

We are opening the funnel for NFT mainstream adoption!

Relite is all set to light up the NFT scene by letting businesses to participate in NFT minting, management and distribution using RELI token and the infrastructure it powers.

We always recognized the transformative potential of non-fungible tokens and what they mean for the future of asset creation, distribution and ownership. However, for all their popularity, NFTs remain largely inaccessible for mainstream businesses without the support of dedicated and highly specialized resources. Relite changes that.

The lending case

At Relite, our initial goal was to build an intuitive lending protocol utilizing key DeFi technologies. However, our tests with Polkadot’s infrastructure did not produce expected results, and that setback, coupled with market moves in the last six months changed the landscape dramatically. The current lending space is associated with many regulatory uncertainties, and after much deliberation, we decided to take what we built and pivot to fulfill another growing gap in the market.

What’s coming up for you and Relite?

To fill that market gap, and to empower businesses with NFTs, Relite’s latest iteration focuses on a platform that allows the frictionless creation and distribution of branded NFTs. Using our platform’s simple yet intuitive interface, businesses will be able to launch exclusive NFT collections with a variety of internal integrations as well as benefits for holders, ranging from proof of ownership to means of exchange, discounts, bonuses and even future airdrops.

We work directly with artists, digital-first brands and traditional SMEs for seamless onboarding and execution, alongside pursuing key strategic partnerships to give consumers additional flexibility, such as the ability to buy NFTs with on/off ramp fiat payment channels.

The opportunity is massive

The global NFT market is worth $23 billion according to DappRadar, and it is expected to reach $80 billion by 2025. Furthermore, according to Morgan Stanley’s research, the NFT market can reach $300 billion by 2030.

Many big businesses, including Adidas and Nike, have already launched their NFT-based experiences to great success. Their attempts have proven that this is an incredible opportunity for creative businesses that aim to boost their E-commerce initiatives to not only make more sales but create highly engaged and loyal communities of customers.

However, these businesses have massive resources at their disposal, allowing them to execute their vision. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of small businesses and enterprises:

It’s time for another exciting Relite Finance community update! We are making progress at light speed. It’s crazy to think we just performed our IDO under two months ago. It feels like it’s been years in the crypto world. While the markets fluctuate, Relite is here for the long term and will build in both bull and bear markets.

1. Relite Finance 2021–22 Roadmap

First and foremost, now that the Relite Finance fundraising is complete and RELI is trading, Relite has announced its new strategic roadmap for 2021 and 2022. This includes the product’s new marketing and business development initiatives as follows:

August/September 2021: Relite is launching Staking & Rewards and incentives for providing Liquidity. Namely, Relite is launching rewards for USDC, DAI, and, indeed, RELI.

October 2021: MVP release — an initial version of Relite’s DeFi platform App: Users will be able to borrow and lend ETH, DAI, and BNB.

November 2021: DOT lending and the Relite Reserve Fund launch.

Q1 2022: Expanded loans on the platform, including Flash & Margin loans

Q2 2022: NFT collateralized loans and pools opening for UNI, ADA, and SOL. In addition, Relite is launching on Polygon (Matic) & releasing their Mobile App.

Q3 2022: Relite is launching fully interoperable cross-chain lending between BTC, ETH, DOT & the Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

2. BSC Bridge Implementation

Relite has launched its Cross-chain Ethereum-to-Binance Smart Chain (BSC) bridge. From now on, users are able to swap RELI tokens between the Ethereum & BSC networks in a matter of minutes. Once the RELI pool on PancakeSwap was launched, the demand for this bridge increased rapidly.

The launch of the BSC bridge is vital to Relite’s long-term goal of scalability and interoperability. It helps Relite to prepare for their full-scale platform launch by building a stronger userbase and providing those users with almost negligible fees relative to the high ETH network transfer & gas fees. The user experience is also enhanced significantly as we’ve deployed a custom UX.

3. Strategic Partnership with Reef Finance

Relite has entered into a strategic partnership with Reef Finance to strengthen its presence within the Polkadot community. This partnership allows Relite access to partnerships, marketing, advisory, grants, & exchange listings.

Relite will enter Reef’s developer ecosystem, allowing Relite to integrate and offer a suite of new product features. In addition, Relite’s RELI token will be listed on Reef’s new Finance DEX. $RELI allows proposals and voting

Through $RELI, our community has an equitable and fair way of presenting proposals to the ecosystem. The same token also creates a fair provision for voting on these proposals. Consequently, $RELI enables the community to collectively decide on the most beneficial ways to exist peacefully in the Relite ecosystem.

$RELI enables the lowest possible fees and de-risks the system

$RELI also plays the crucial role of sustaining fees at the lowest possible levels. One of our token allocations in our tokenomics is a reserve fund. The fund’s primary goal is to protect the community from over-collateralization and de-risk the system in case of a shortfall event due to the volatility that occasionally occurs in the blockchain economy. This helps keep fees within the ecosystem lower and gives more of our members access to borrowing due to the low collateral requirements.

We push the limits of collateralization ratios that provide favorable borrowing conditions for the community and safeguard the principal from the lender. Thus, without $RELI, there is no means of transaction, no apparent means of governance, and certainly no active ecosystem.

1. Collaboration with Parsiq

Relite has partnered with Parsiq to monitor its wallets’ all blockchain activity. Parsiq will enable predictability on capital movements and lending and borrowing thresholds. 2. Uniswap Pool Migration

Lastly, Relite will be performing a migration from Uniswap V2 to V3 on June 15th. This means we will have much better liquidity and market-making due to the new Uniswap AMM integration and program and much faster and robust trading. From what we have seen, this will mean less price slippage and more support for the RELI coin. We are also working on a Liquidity provider program for Uniswap that allows users to share in the trading profits from Uniswap V3 transactions. Overall, we believe this will result in a much better overall trading experience for our users.

We have some other goodies in store for all of you in the coming month so stay tuned 😉 We know things in DeFi can seem a bit slow, but once they ramp up, they ramp up fast! With Polkadot’s and Kusama’s auctions coming, we expect a lot of activity and news around the Relite project and RELI coin!
