The conference brought together activists, technologists, researchers, and community leaders from across the Asia-Pacific to discuss the future of digital rights, technology, and civic space.</p><p>For me, it was more than just a conference; it was a journey of reflection, learning, and connection. Our attention spans are shrinking, and our brains are rewiring themselves to crave fast rewards, constant novelty, and zero discomfort.</p><p>That realisation hit me like a brick.</p><p>So I decided to do something radical for a weekend: I picked up a book called <strong>Dopamine Detox</strong>, and spent hours deep-diving into how this single neurotransmitter is messing with my focus, energy, and happiness.</p><p>Here’s what I learned — raw, real, and straight from my notes.</p><h3>🧠 How Our Minds Trick Us</h3><p>Dopamine isn’t evil. It’s a natural part of how the brain motivates us.
