We are excited to announce the $SHARDS Rush Event. During this event, you’ll gain several economic bonuses. The effectiveness of these bonuses will depend on a new parameter — Holder Balance, which is based on the amount of $SHARDS in your account. The event will progress through three phases, unfolding gradually:

Phase 1: Preparation Phase
Build up your Holder Balance

Phase 2: New Bonus Added
Enhanced Attraction Force — boosted by your Holder’s Luck Bonus

Phase 3: New Bonus Added
Enhanced Production Speed — boosted by your Holder’s Craft Bonus

The new phases do not replace the previous ones: they only add new features

Preparation Phase

The first phase started along with the announcement. During the Preparation Phase you have the opportunity to build up your Holder Balance, which is based on the minimum token balance on your account over the last 7 days. The Holder Balance is recalculated every day at 00:00 UTC. After the first 7 days following this announcement, the second phase begins, and your Holder Balance will start providing its first economic bonus — the Holder’s Luck Bonus.

Enhanced Attraction Force

Holder’s Luck Bonus provides a temporary Attraction Force bonus. The more tokens you hold, the stronger your Attraction Force becomes — giving you a greater chance to earn extra tokens.

How it works:

The Holder’s Luck Bonus effect depends on your item rarity, Luck Level, and the number of tokens on your account.

Holder’s Luck Bonus only affects drop — it doesn’t change the cost of speeding up charges.

There are 3 tiers of the Holder’s Luck Bonus:

+100% to item’s Luck

+60% to item’s Luck

+30% to item’s Luck

You can check the table below to see how many tokens you’ll need on your account to get Holder’s Luck Bonus. Mention that amount of tokens required to be held to get a bonus may change over the course of the event.

How to track the Holder’s Luck Bonus:

We’ve added an extra button in the HUD at the top right of the screen. There, you can check your Holder Balance — current minimum token balance for the last 7 days and read a short description of the event.

In thе Active equip window, right before starting a new adventure with active Attraction Force, you can also see your current Holder’s Luck Bonus.

Enhanced Production Speed

In the third phase, a new attribute will be introduced — Holder’s Craft Bonus. Depending on your Holder Balance, your time-based Web3 processes will run faster. Enhanced Production Speed will affect the following activities:

Crafting Collectible Items

Upgrading the rarity of Collectible Items

Refining Rifts

Just like Enhanced Attraction Force, there are three levels of Holder’s Craft Bonus based on your Holder Balance. However, the Holder’s Craft Bonus does not depend on item level — it is determined only by rarity of the artifacts at the workbenches.

More details about Enhanced Production Speed will be revealed during the second phase.

Welcome to our latest AMA! Get comfortable, because here we discussed the newest updates, TGE, and our long-term plans for the future. We recommend grabbing some snacks — the session turned out to be big and full of insights.

You can find the full video recording of the AMA here: https://worldshards.net/ama-yt-04092025

When will the Shards drop begin?

The drop will start about one hour before TGE, slightly earlier than the listings. Withdrawals will become available at 12 PM UTC on the 12th. At the same time, the conversion of proxy tokens into real tokens will begin, right after the technical break in the game is completed.

Most of the TGE partners have already been announced. Is that the full list, or do you plan additional listings?

We have a very strong starting setup for TGE, and we took the time to make sure it is the best possible launch. However, we are not stopping there — we are actively pursuing listings on other exchanges, including tier-one platforms. We hope these will happen relatively soon. Our end goal is to maximize the utility and demand for the token, both in-game and externally, which includes adding more exchanges. Details about such listings will be announced the same way as TGE, but due to exchange regulations, we will only be able to disclose them at the very last moment.

How are you planning to handle potential sell pressure caused by airdrops?

We are aware that listings on major exchanges, especially tier-one, almost always come with certain incentives for exchange users. This is an agreement between the exchange and the project, as it benefits both sides. While such incentives may create short-term sell pressure, they also bring valuable exposure and liquidity to the token. It is a two-way process, and an airdrop cannot be separated from the overall listing effect. To prepare for this and to support our economy, we introduced several events and new features, which we discussed later in the AMA. We believe we are in a strong position: unlike many other projects that go live, WorldShards provides real in-game utility for the token and a well-designed economy powered by it. This makes us stand out from most projects on the market, and we intend to build on that foundation.

What are Chronites?

Chronite is essentially a streamlined feature we introduced to make certain processes more efficient. With Chronite, we can run events where we grant players the specific resource used for speeding up processes related to collectible items, crafting, and upgrading. It is simply a necessary addition to better support various events and mechanics in the game.

Will there be visual and sound effects when receiving tokens?

Yes, these are already implemented in the game. Similar to receiving NFTs, when you acquire tokens there is a notification. However, since tokens can drop quite often, we decided not to overwhelm players with constant flashy effects. Instead, we added a distinct sound — a short jingle — along with a clear visual in the item pickup log. This way, players know something special has happened without it becoming distracting.

What is the actual difference between higher rarities, and do they really affect drop rates?

We strongly believe that higher rarities do provide a significant and noticeable increase in drop rates. This has always been the case, even if some players feel differently. During the second test, we found a solution that makes this even more impactful: using higher rarities allows players to travel further, visit more islands, and spend more time farming tokens. This creates more opportunities to engage with the game’s mechanics and provides a real advantage. We consider this a well-balanced and meaningful system.

What is your plan when the bear market hits?

Regardless of how the bear market is defined, we can all agree that the market moves in cycles and trends. The best approach for us has been to design an economy that can adapt to these cycles and remain as sustainable as possible. We have spent hundreds, if not thousands, of hours carefully planning and balancing this economy. Of course, no project can be completely shielded from market conditions, and there is no “silver bullet.” However, we constantly evaluate the system, look for improvements, and introduce new content, new functionality, and new token sinks. This ongoing development is the best way to ensure that we are prepared for any market conditions.

What will be the initial token circulation, and how do you plan to increase it?

The circulating supply is outlined in our tokenomics and will not change in the near term. Our economy was designed as a fair launch, with the majority of tokens allocated to in-game rewards for the community. Apart from in-game rewards, the only other sources of tokens may be certain events, community incentives, or promotional activities. The key point is that the main and consistent source of new tokens in circulation will always be the community itself. Naturally, TGE and listings require initial liquidity on exchanges, and there are some marketing incentives coordinated with exchanges, which is unavoidable for any project. Even so, we minimized the initial circulating supply to around 5–6%, which we believe is a solid starting point.

What about token utilities?

We have recently introduced new token utilities and are planning to expand them further. You can expect more token-related mechanics to appear as development continues, some of which were already covered during this AMA. Our goal is to keep adding meaningful uses for the token both in-game and beyond.

What about the proxy exchange?

Yesterday, we published a detailed breakdown of how the entire process will work, and we understand that it raised some concerns. Still, there are three key points we want to highlight. First, two-thirds of players — the majority — will have their proxies exchanged in less than a month. Second, this measure is absolutely crucial for token stability, as it prevents extreme volatility. And finally, every token you farm after exchanging your proxies will be immediately available for withdrawal.

How will token emission be handled at TGE?

Our goal — and we believe it is also the community’s goal — is for the WorldShards economy and token to perform well long term. The worst thing we could do would be to create a massive spike in token emissions on the very first day. That would harm stability, and we deliberately chose not to go down that path. It may not be the most popular decision, but it is the most responsible one. We are working carefully to strike the right balance, because extremes on either side are damaging. We are also open to community feedback and may consider adjustments if needed, but sustainability remains our guiding principle.

What exclusive events are prepared for TGE?

Many of you are already familiar with the first event we designed specifically for TGE: the roaming vendor. Instead of generating revenue, this system gives both newcomers and current players the chance to obtain new assets in exchange for tokens, directly linking equipment progression to in-game progress. The roaming vendor can be encountered in the game and offers loot boxes filled with artifacts and items, with tokens as the only payment method. This is our alternative to direct cash sales, and we kept our promise — no open loot sales before TGE, and most likely not after either.

We want to stress that the token economy is our top priority. Events like this create meaningful token sinks and additional utility without generating revenue for us. Alongside the roaming vendor, we are launching the Chronite Hunter event, which begins at the same time as TGE and will continue through the first days and possibly weeks after launch. It provides further support for the economy, adds extra features, and of course includes a leaderboard — because we know how much you enjoy competing.

👉 Chronite Hunter Challenge

Will there be co-op in the game?

Co-op and multiplayer features are quite complex, so we plan to roll them out step by step. The first stage will be something simple, like the ability to visit Wild Islands together with other players. From there, we will expand and improve. However, this feature will not be available in 2025 — our goal is to launch it in the first half of 2026.

Our vision includes creating lobbies, groups, and teams, allowing you to match up with friends or with new players in the main city before traveling. We are also exploring seamless drop-in/drop-out gameplay, so you could start playing alone and have your friends join your session at any time.

Co-op will naturally require more challenging content. With multiple players, the aggro system needs reworking, and the difficulty must be increased. We plan to introduce mechanics like shield breaking, interrupting, channeling abilities, as well as real bosses and elite enemies with mechanics that require attention — nothing extreme, but more engaging than current encounters.

Regarding classes and builds, we are not going for traditional MMO archetypes like tanks or healers. Instead, everyone will deal damage, but in different ways. Some builds will focus on crowd control, freezing or disabling enemies. Others will buff teammates or enable them to do more damage, while still contributing damage themselves. This approach fits our vision better and allows for diverse playstyles without locking players into standard MMO roles.

How do you deal with cheaters?

You have already seen the results of our efforts against cheaters — many of them have been complaining in chats after being banned. Our anti-cheat system is constantly improving, and with each update, the number of exploits decreases. Right now, the number of cheaters is at its lowest level, especially after the recent wave of bans.

Even if some cheats are still technically possible, we monitor all suspicious activity. Players can be banned manually, even without the automated system, and punishments are strict. The rules are public, and we enforce them consistently. In addition, our team is targeting auto-clickers specifically — we are implementing a gameplay solution that will make auto-clickers completely obsolete.

Aren’t Murrmics too overpowered?

We have heard this question many times, and yes, Murrmics are indeed quite powerful because they have several unique features. That was intentional from the start. Your activity during the Murrmic event was a big help to us, and we wanted to reward players who participated. The Murrmic chest provides unique gameplay features that go far beyond what a regular chest offers. From a pure gameplay perspective, they are definitely stronger, but that is the point — it is a reward for the most active and loyal players. You get a real advantage, and we believe we delivered exactly that.

Can you share more details about the auction house?

The auction house is aligned with our multiplayer roadmap, so it will not arrive this year. As for how it will look, we are following a proven approach rather than reinventing the wheel. It will function similarly to auction houses in large MMORPGs such as World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy.

In broad terms, players will be able to list items either as single pieces or in stacks, set their prices, and use an item browser with filters and sorting options (e.g., by cost per stack). There will be bidding, as well as an auction house cut. In short, it will be a fully functioning, familiar system that players already enjoy in other games. It takes time to build properly, but it is firmly in our pipeline.

Will there be a sixth island level, and when will new content be added?

We are still in early access, and what is already available is a strong foundation that we continue to expand. Asking for a sixth level right now misses the point of where we are in the roadmap. We have not yet fully released two of the current biomes, and work is ongoing on four in total: the forest, winter, swamp (still unfinished), and a fourth biome that has not been revealed yet but is already in development.

Before talking about a sixth level, we need to complete and polish the existing content. This includes new enemies, interactive features, puzzles, and improvements to older enemies such as wargs and gnolls, who were designed at the earliest stage and are comparatively simple. In addition, we are introducing systems like multiplayer, the auction house, token mechanics, and procedural generation for islands. Procedural generation will significantly increase replayability, as islands will no longer feel repetitive.

We understand why players ask for new levels, as repeated content can feel familiar, but our priority is delivering polished, engaging features that enhance the overall experience. Expanding content step by step will provide more freshness and depth than simply adding another difficulty level right now.

What was the reasoning behind development delays, and why did the roadmap change?

We shortened and simplified the roadmap intentionally. Previously, we shared timelines in too much detail, and when deadlines shifted, it created unnecessary frustration in the community. Game development is extremely complex, and developing an online game multiplies that complexity several times. Integrating Web3 and blockchain elements increases it even further.

Because of this, we chose to provide a rough outline rather than detailed step-by-step promises. This allows us to keep you informed while also managing expectations responsibly. Our current roadmap still reflects our priorities, and the next major milestones are multiplayer and the mobile version, most likely launching on Android first. The streamlined roadmap lets us focus on what matters most while avoiding overpromising and underdelivering.

What about re-rolls?

Re-rolls are definitely something we want to implement, but the system is much more complex than it might seem. It is not just about adding re-rollable stats — since these are tied to NFTs, the technical implementation is significantly more complicated. We initially hoped to deliver it alongside multiplayer, but that will not happen. To be clear: re-rolls will not be available this year.

Are there any new features planned for this year?

Yes, we do have new features planned, though we want to be careful about how much we reveal. One area we are improving is the way distractions work, such as throwing stones. Currently, many players gather groups of NPCs and simply clear them with AoE, and we want to make that more tactical.

In addition, we are reviewing some of the older NPCs. While we are not making massive changes, you can expect tweaks and new attacks for existing enemies. At the same time, we believe new content is more exciting than polishing old mechanics. That means you can expect additions to the swamp biome and new enemies there, which will bring more variety and freshness to the game this year.

Will it be possible to merge Murrmics into higher rarities starting tomorrow?

No, this will not be available tomorrow. However, it is planned for the future, and we are actively working on it.

What is the utility of the badge?

The badge is primarily a cosmetic item that you can showcase in your open inventory. However, starting this month, a mysterious vendor will appear, offering exclusive rewards based on your badge. This is one of the ways we are rewarding our earliest supporters, giving the badge real utility beyond its cosmetic function.

Can we marry NPCs?

While technically in some places you can “marry” non-humans or AI, we recommend checking with your local council before proposing to Jane. In short, marriage to NPCs is not a planned feature.

Will pets be added to the game?

Pets are in our long-term plans, but they are not in development yet. The concept is written out, but it is not coded, so do not expect pets to appear anytime soon.

What about mounts?

Mounts are not planned in the near future. On smaller maps they are not very practical, though they could make sense on larger maps. For now, adjustments to character movement speed are more likely than introducing mounts.

When will the mobile app be released?

Our target for the mobile app is next year.

What about bosses and lore?

Many players focus on gameplay rather than lore, so it is difficult to gauge the level of interest. Lore is important, but features like PvE multiplayer, guilds, reputation systems, and the auction house take priority. That said, we are developing lore as we go, since each new biome and enemy has a theme and story behind it.

The question is how to present it in a way that feels satisfying. Options include cutscenes, in-game notes, or quest systems. At the moment, lore is delivered mostly through notes, and one of our team members is dedicated to expanding that. In the future, we may add more structured systems to bring the story to life.

What about the reputation system?

A reputation system already exists in the game — for example, when upgrading the Librarian or the Collector. However, these are very basic features. Our plan is to expand the system and make it more engaging. That could include introducing quests or activities that grant reputation, so it feels more meaningful than just “do a task, number goes up, unlocks functionality.” We want players to actively interact with reputation as a system, rather than it being a passive progression mechanic.

Will there be more videos like the one on YouTube?

Yes, we are working on it. You can expect more videos to be released for the community.

Chronite Hunter Challenge

Adventurers, you love leaderboards and a bit of healthy competition — so do we. To mark the TGE launch, we’re rolling out a brand-new leaderboard: Chronite Hunters Challenge. Spend tokens in-game, get Chronite back, and climb the board. Whether you’re a casual spender or a big one, every participant receives rewards proportional to the tokens they use. Let the hunt begin!

Chronite Hunters Challenge: Season 4 Update

A brand-new season launches on December 1 at 00:00 UTC.

The rules stay the same (read more below in this article).

The top 50 players on the leaderboard at the end of Season 4 will receive special bonus rewards. The higher your rank, the greater the prize!

However, in this season we are reducing the amount of Chronites per extra token and Chronites per token spent from 3 to 2, in order to maintain a balanced amount of Chronite within the in-game economy.

Season 4 will run until January 1, 00:00 UTC.

Chronite Hunters Challenge: Season 3 Update

A brand-new season launches on November 1 at 00:00 UTC, bringing even more rewards for our most dedicated adventurers!

The rules stay the same (read more below in this article)

The top 50 players on the leaderboard at the end of Season 3 will receive special bonus rewards. The higher your rank, the greater the prize!

Season 3 will run until December 1, 00:00 UTC.

Chronite Hunters Challenge: Season 2 Update

A brand-new season launches on October 2 at 00:00 UTC, bringing even more rewards for our most dedicated adventurers!

The rules stay the same (read more below in this article), but the prizes are getting even better.

The top 50 players on the leaderboard at the end of Season 2 will receive special bonus rewards. The higher your rank, the greater the prize!

Season 2 will run until November 1, 00:00 UTC.

Basic rules

Spend any tokens in the game → get Chronites and Catolysts simultaneously

Rewards are proportional to the tokens you spend

Every participant, regardless of their placement on the leaderboard gets reward — if you spend tokens, you get the rewards, no strings attached.

There’re additional multipliers for the Catolysts rewards on the Leaderboard webpage. These are separate from the multipliers for the Chronites. They are applied independently to the same spend and deposit balances

The event lasts as long as the leaderboard is visible. Once the leaderboard is no longer updated or turned off, the event is considered finished.

Every day, at 00:00 UTC, the spent and bonus columns are reset, and their count starts over.

Important clarifications

Catolysts spend provisions
Chronite for tokens spent on catolysts is credited if following conditions are met within the same day

Tokens are converted to catolysts

Catolysts are spent

*The requirement of catalyst spend together with token is to prevent exploit of event mechanics due to tradable nature of catolysts.

**For processes that take time and can be canceled the catolysts spend only counts when the process is finished, not when catolysts are debited from the account when the process has started(this is to avoid cancellation exploits).

2. Charging does not count

Spending tokens on charging does not count as part of this event. Сharging is essentially spending tokens to generate more tokens, often even within the same day. This is token turnover, not a true sink, and therefore is excluded from event spending

3. Proxy Token mechanics

Exchanging proxy-tokens into tokens counts as receiving tokens in-game and is recorded in the corresponding “earned” balance

Receiving proxy-tokens from any source does not count toward the event until they are exchanged into tokens

4. Chronite purchase using Tokens

Chronite purchase for tokens from the vendor counts as immediate token spend regardless if the Chronite has been spent or not.

5. Two reward ratios

Normal ratio applies to tokens spent within the amount received in-game during the event.

Boosted ratio applies to any spend above the amount received in-game (e.g., extra tokens bought on exchanges).

Example:

You got 1000 tokens in-game.

Spend 800 → all at the normal ratio

Spend 1200 → 1000 at the normal ratio + 200 at the boosted ratio

6. Token Earned Balance = all tokens you’ve got in-game during the event, minus token spend that was already rewarded with Chronites in previous days.
As long as you have balance left, your spend counts at the normal ratio. Once your balance is depleted, all further spend counts at the boosted ratio.

Example 1:

A player received 10,000 tokens during the event.

Already spent 7,000 → balance left = 3,000.

Spending within 3,000 → normal ratio.

After that → boosted ratio.

Example 2:

Day 1: tokens received — 1000, tokens spent 0, Tokens earned balance: 1000, Chronite earned — 0.

Day 2: tokens received — 0, tokens spent 100, Tokens earned balance: 900, Chronite earned — normal ratio * 100.

Day 3: tokens received — 0, tokens spent 1100, Tokens earned balance: 0, Chronite earned — normal ratio * 900 + Boosted ratio * 200.

How to get zero event earned balance to apply boosted reward ratios?

Of course, any player would want to apply a boosted reward ratio. This is only possible if your spendings exceeds the amount of tokens earned during the event.

The best way to do this is acquiring $SHARDS from centralized and decentralized exchanges during the TGE and spend them in the game in addition to those you earned in the game.

Dynamic daily ratio

The reward ratio updates daily and would be highest during the first days after TGE. The ratios you see at any moment are current ratios that apply at this day and may change next day. Don’t forget to refresh the event page to make sure you see the correct ratios.

The current day’s multipliers will always be displayed on the leaderboard page.

What is Chronite?

Chronite is our premium, time-saving currency used to speed up several web3 processes in WorldShards. With Chronite you can:

Speed up the crafting of collectible items

Speeding up the rarity increases of collectible items

Speed up rift processing

Learn more on the wiki: https://wiki.worldshards.online/game/economy-overview/chronite

Track your progress on the Chronite Hunters Challenge Leaderboard: https://www.worldshards.online/en/chronite-hunter-challenge

The Founders Rewards Program is our way of saying thank you to the early adventurers who believed in the project from the start.

As a token of our appreciation, we’ve added a Founders Ticket of the rarity corresponding to your Founders rank to the inventory of eligible players. Your rank reflects how active you were before the TGE, and it determines the tier of reward lootboxes you’ll be eligible to receive over the next 12 months.

How is your rank determined?

Your rank isn’t random. It’s based on your pre-TGE actions — before August 4. Specifically, we looked at:

Whether you own Founders items on your account. If you had Founders gear at the time of the snapshot (even if it was listed for sale on the marketplace), you were given points

How many Wild Islands you’ve explored over time

If you’ve supported the project through purchases. Items bought on the marketplace do count, but purchases made during sales were valued more highly

While your ticket shows your rank, the exact number of points you got remains hidden.

Here’s how many points are needed for each rank:

How do you claim rewards?

The rank of your Founders Ticket determines the tier of rewards offered by the Founders Rewards Traveling Merchant. The higher your rank, the better the lootbox you’ll see. To be eligible for a visit from the Traveling Merchant, you must have a Founders Ticket in your inventory. Once you have the ticket, start exploring Wild Islands. The more you explore, the more likely it is that the Traveling Merchant will show up on your Home Island with a Founders Reward lootbox just for you. It’ll come at a small cost — 1 GEM, but the rewards will be worth it — Proxy Tokens, Artifacts and Islands.

Be vigilant that skipping a month of your playtime means that you’ll miss at least one appearance of the Travelling Merchant. The missed Founders Rewards do not get transferred to the future months.

| Curious about how Traveling Merchants work? Check out our wiki — https://worldshards.net/traveling-merchants

When does it begin?

You’ll have the chance to encounter the Founders Rewards Traveling Merchant starting approximately four weeks after the TGE.

What do you need to do?

If you’re eligible, there’s nothing you need to do — you’re already in. Just check your inventory. Your Founders Ticket should be there. Once it’s in, all that’s left to do is keep exploring. When the merchant shows up, you’ll know.

Thanks for being with us from the beginning!

Here’s what’s new.

BUILDING & DECOR

Builders, rejoice! We’ve added a new 4th tier rarity decor set that will be unlockable entirely through in-game means, these brand-new building objects are a way to provide more freedom when it comes to personalising your Home Island.

Decor Collection System. Players can now gather their decor objects into themed collections and exchange them via a special NPC Collector for a special currency. These can then be used to purchase rare decorative items.

New 4th Tier Rarity Decor Set. This coveted set will only be available through the collection system — exchange a full set of themed decor objects for a special currency and use it to acquire a3 box containing a decor item!

Collector Reputation. To celebrate our journey towards TGE, obtaining collector reputation will be simplified and will work for all collections of any rarity and at any reputation level. In the future, you will need to submit collections of progressively increasing rarities as you climb through the reputation ranks. We want to show some love to those of you who have been supporting us all this time by giving you a more streamlined progression where you can level up your reputation more easily! It will work differently in the future.

ENEMIES

Fighters, behold! This patch brings exciting improvements to the combat as well as new enemy types. The goal here is to round out the existing lineup with new mechanics and improvements to old ones, in addition to giving you a taste of what to expect from our latest Swampy biome.

New Swamp Enemies — From the dangerous Swamp there comes new threats. Players will now encounter Crocaneers and Swampers when traversing the Swamp. For now there will only be melee archetypes as we continue working on their full roster.

New Ranged Attacks. All enemies — not just ranged types — will now be able to throw things at players who climb to unreachable spots. Get down from there!

New Behaviors. Enemies will now react accordingly to being cornered, some will switch from ranged to melee attacks, others will refrain from dodging and instead become more aggressive.

Reworked Evade Mechanic. We’ve massively improved the feel of the system by adjusting the necessary conditions needed for enemies to start evading.

Improved Enemy Navigation. Enemies will now check for obstacles when deciding on what path to take. Expect to see much less walking into walls or dodging when there is no space.

GAMEPLAY & ENVIRONMENT

Explorers, we didn’t forget about you! For those of you that enjoy uncovering every secret, scouring every inch — we’ve added more. This patch adds a wealth of new content to discover.

17 new adventure scenes. Biomes now feature even more visual variety and hidden details.

New environmental objects — Crocaneer dwellings can now be found in the Swamp as the inhabitants lay claim to the land there.

New collectibles and lore. New notes are scattered across all adventures waiting to be uncovered.

Added island size selection for the level 1 tier 1 difficulty.

New sounds. Added new ambient sounds for the Swamp biome, as well as new sounds for the two new enemy types, the Crocaneer and the Swamper. In addition to that, we’ve made improvements to the existing sounds.

Polished gathering mechanics. We’ve improved the feel of switching between weapons and gathering tools, this should hopefully lead to smoother harvesting.

BUG FIXES & MORE

We’ve made general improvements to the performance and stability of the game. And we’ve fixed some of the most frequently reported issues in this patch, most notably:

Player stats are now reliably saved when teleporting out of adventures.

Fixed issues with the start screen audio.

Improved performance when harvesting plants on the Home Island.

Jumping mushroom related fixes.

Gold limit temporarily raised to 30 in order to celebrate the TGE
