Modest guy (‘just a player’) who amplifies simplicity in a understandable way. His playstyle or execution may seem complex but beneath it rules calculation and simple game plans. His mastery is unparalleled but also stems from reachable principles. Reading this back I see it’s more abstract then it is practical. Yet his coaching is reverse: simple and aimed at to make your gameplay more effective. I enjoyed his First to 5 very much (as did my son!)
Peabnut's coaching was helpful in both general and specific manners. Helping me to better develop my gameplan and not only answer questions I may have had to improve, but exploring new questions unthought of beforehand. Peab patiently took the time between games to ensure his thoughts and ideas were heard and understood to assist with improvement. Peab's coaching can lead to powerful and creative improvements, as he continues to prove with his Mega Man in tournaments.
Peabnut is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the best coaches for Smash. He's a top player, has a growth mindset, creative gameplay/analysis, chill af, AND has great prices. He will make you rethink Smash and he will believe in you every step of the way. Watch his gameplay and look at his twitter, and you can see exactly why he is a great coach. Peabnut has the power to change Smash as a whole. 10/10, will be booking again soon.
An incredibly eye opening session. Peab has a way of talking about the game that is both unique and practical. Would recommend and will be booking another session!
Holy, What the actually peak, thank you Peab for the sesssion, would recommend to anyone at pretty much all stages of the game. Always something to learn with smash yk. Genuinely was super helpful and gave different perspectives with all the tips that were giving (made it very helpful to understand).

We play a Ft5 over Wi-Fi as I explain my perspectives and answer your questions! I take plenty of time between matches to explain in detail what I see. I find the advice is more fulfilling when we can see it blossom as we play
VOD review together (1 hour)
The standard session. We'll look at a VOD of your choosing and take turns asking each other questions about the game. If we go a little over 1 hour, I won't tell anyone :)

No! I've helped players of various characters, regions, and skill levels. The fundamentals I believe in apply to everyone
How involved should I be during a session?
I want you to speak up when you need help understanding something! Do not be afraid to ask questions :)
How can I prepare for a lesson?
There are some questions that are given to you when you buy a session. Answer these so I can gauge the kind of player you are. Additionally, I think it's good practice for you to take notes as we go along!
Is Discord required?
Discord is required for the live sessions so I can share my screen and point things out to you while we talk it out
What is your coaching style?
I like to analyze characters, players, and positions using logic and probability to find patterns we can act on. Then we can translate our findings into practical game plans that people can follow and revise when needed. I adapt my lessons to fit the player I'm teaching. I've been told that I am a good listener :)
