I'm Adam Honse, aka CalcProgrammer1. I am the creator and lead developer of OpenRGB, a project that aims to unify the mess that is RGB lighting control on PC peripherals, components, and accessories.  The official applications for controlling these devices are often bloated, invasive, and Windows-only.  If you have devices from different manufacturers, you often need multiple pieces of software. This often leads to incompatibilities and does not allow proper synchronization of all devices. By bypassing the manufacturer software and talking directly to the device hardware, OpenRGB is able to control devices from many brands and synchronize them all. It works on Windows, Linux, and MacOS.  OpenRGB also provides a network-based interface (SDK) to allow other software to control lighting. By becoming a patron, you'll give me the freedom to continue working on OpenRGB.
