# Getting Started with PaymentForm.io

This page covers the steps to set up your PaymentForm.io account, create your first payment form, and share it with your customers.

Getting started with PaymentForm.io is simple. Create your account, connect a payment gateway, build your payment form, and start collecting payments online without needing a website. You can create different types of payment forms, including **Donation forms**, **fundraising forms**, **E-commerce forms (Physical &amp; Digital products)**, **event ticket forms, membership forms,** and more.

Each form can be customized with your branding, payment settings, emails, invoices, tracking tools, and more. Once your form is ready, you can share it via a direct link, QR code, embed code, or social media.

How to Create a PaymentForm.io Account

  
To start collecting payments online with PaymentForm.io, you need to create an account. It takes just a few seconds.

Sign Up with Email

1. Click **Sign Up** from the homepage or navigation bar.
2. Enter the required details: Name, Email address, Password, and Confirm password
3. Click **Sign Up**
4. Check your email inbox for the verification message.
5. Verify your account using one of the available options: enter the **email OTP** or click the **verification link.**
6. Once verified, your account will be activated.

Sign Up with Google

1. Go to the Sign Up page.
2. Click **Continue with Google**.
3. Select your Google account to complete the signup process.

Dashboard Overview

When you log in to PaymentForm.io, you land on the dashboard.

The dashboard is the main place where you manage your PaymentForm.io account.

From the dashboard, you can create forms, manage modules, view payments, check submissions, update settings, and track form activity.

Dashboard Options

**My Forms**

A list of all the payment forms you’ve created. From here, you can create new forms, edit existing ones, view submissions, duplicate a form, or delete it.

 **Search Form**

Quickly find a form by typing its name in the search box. This is helpful when you have multiple forms in your account.

**Dark Mode**

Switch the dashboard interface between light and dark mode. This helps you work more comfortably based on your preferred viewing style.

**Multi Language**

Change the dashboard language from the language selector. This makes it easier to use PaymentForm.io in your preferred language.

  
**Create Form**

Click the “**+ Create Form**” button at the top right to start creating a new form from the dashboard. You can choose a module, customize it, connect payment gateways, and publish the form.

Sidebar Menu

Use the left sidebar to access all platform features:

- **My Forms**: View and manage all your payment forms
- **Payment Gateway**: Connect and manage your payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Razorpay, and others. This is where you set up the gateway account you want to use for collecting payments.
- **Tax**: Create and manage tax rules for your payment forms. You can set tax rates based on country, state/province, and billing or shipping address.
- **Custom Domain**: Connect your own domain with PaymentForm.io. This helps you share forms using a branded link instead of the default PaymentForm.io URL.
- **Webhooks**: Send form submission data to external tools automatically. Webhooks are useful when you want to connect PaymentForm.io with CRMs, automation tools, or custom apps.
- **Activity Log**: Track important activities inside your account. It helps you review form actions, changes, and other account-related events.
- **Files**: View and manage files uploaded through your forms. You can check total files, storage size, file type, access, owner, related form, and creation date from one place.

Form Actions

Each form in your list has quick action icons on the right:

- **Submission:** Shows the total number of submissions received through this form. Click or check this count to review submitted customer/payment details.
- **Created At:** Shows the date when the form was created. This helps you identify and organize older or newer forms.
- **Delete**: Remove the form from your account. Use this carefully, as deleted forms may no longer be available for collection or editing.
- **Edit**: Open the form to update form fields, design, payment settings, or other form details.
- **Analytics**: View form performance and activity, such as visits, submissions, and related form statistics.
- **Preview** **Form:** Click and preview your live payment form
- **Status Toggle**: Turn your form on or off to control availability

How to Create Your First Payment Form

To start collecting payments online with PaymentForm.io, you need to create a payment form first. A payment form is where your customers, donors, or buyers enter their details, choose an amount or product, and complete the payment.

Before creating a form, make sure you have created your PaymentForm.io account and logged in to your dashboard. You should also connect at least one payment gateway from the Payment Gateway section.

Step 1: Open Create Form

Click the **“+ Create Form”** button in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Step 2: Choose a Module

Select the type of payment form you want to create. PaymentForm.io currently includes modules such as:

- Donation
- Physical Product (Single)
- Physical Product (Multiple)
- Fundraising

***Info:** The module is only a starting point. You can customize the template based on your campaign, product, pricing, fields, and payment requirements.*

Step 3: Customize Your Form

After selecting a module, you can start editing the form.

Use the available tabs, such as Setup, Fields, and Settings, to update your form details. Depending on the selected module, you may be able to add product information, donation amounts, fundraising goals, form fields, payment settings, email settings, thank-you messages, and other options.

Step 4: Save, Preview, and Test

Once your form setup is complete, click Save &amp; Preview to save your changes and check how the form looks.

Before sharing the form publicly, test the form flow carefully. Check the form fields, pricing, payment gateway, confirmation message, email notification, and any required settings.

When your form is ready, go to the Publish section.

From there, you can get your:

- Form URL
- Embed code
- Share in social media
- Share via QR code
