The latest Adobe financial results (Q2 FY2026)

Adobe reported record Q2 FY2026 results on June 11, 2026, for the quarter ended May 29, 2026.

Revenue and earnings

Financial MetricValue
Total Revenue$6.62 billion
GAAP Net Income$1.71 billion
Non-GAAP Net Income$2.40 billion
GAAP Earnings Per Share$4.25
Non-GAAP Earnings Per Share$5.96
Operating Cash Flow$2.17 billion
Total Adobe ARR$27.10 billion
Remaining Performance Obligations$22.27 billion

Customer group performance

Adobe now reports customer groups instead of the older segment framing used in many previous summaries. This is useful because it separates creative/pro marketing users from business/pro productivity users.

Customer groupSubscription revenueGrowth
Total Customer Group subscription revenue$6.39 billion14% year over year
Business Professionals & Consumers$1.85 billion16% year over year
Creative & Marketing Professionals$4.54 billion13% year over year

FY2026 financial targets

Adobe raised its FY2026 targets after Q2.

MetricFY2026 target
Total revenue$26.50 billion to $26.60 billion
Business Professionals & Consumers subscription revenue$7.44 billion to $7.48 billion
Creative & Marketing Professionals subscription revenue$18.21 billion to $18.27 billion
Total Adobe ending ARR growth10.2% year over year
GAAP EPS$17.90 to $18.00
Non-GAAP EPS$24.35 to $24.45

The most important new signal is AI revenue. Adobe said its AI-first annual recurring revenue has more than tripled year over year and exceeded $500 million. That does not mean Firefly alone is a $500 million product, but it shows AI is now material enough for Adobe to call out in financial reporting.

The information above comes from Adobe's Q2 FY2026 earnings release, Adobe's FY2025 annual reporting, and public company disclosures. For the most detailed financial information, Adobe's Investor Relations website at www.adobe.com/investor-relations.html is still the best source.

Adobe Creative Cloud has an estimated low-to-mid 30 million subscribers

Adobe Creative Cloud launched on April 22, 2012. By March 2013, it had more than half a million users, increasing to 1.4 million by the end of the year.

Since then, Adobe hasn't released official Creative Cloud subscriber counts. That is the annoying part of Adobe statistics: the most-searched number is also the one Adobe stopped reporting directly.

Based on older disclosed subscriber numbers, Adobe's subscription revenue, and the growth of Creative Cloud since 2021, the best estimate is still in the low-to-mid 30 million range. Treat that as an estimate, not an official Adobe figure.

Number of creative cloud subscribers

Creative Cloud also changed shape in 2025. The old All Apps plan became Creative Cloud Pro, Adobe added Creative Cloud Standard, and Firefly credits became a much bigger part of the plan comparison.

That makes the subscriber count harder to interpret. A Creative Cloud user might now be on a single-app plan, Photography, Creative Cloud Standard, Creative Cloud Pro, a team plan, or a plan bundled with Firefly features.

Adobe Stock has 900M+ assets

After acquiring Fotolia in 2015 and renaming it Adobe Stock, Adobe's library of royalty-free files quickly became one of the best stock image sites and royalty-free video providers.

Adobe now advertises 900M+ stock images, videos, and more on its live Adobe Stock plans page. That is a big jump from the older 600M+ figure this article used before.

The library includes traditional stock photos, vectors, illustrations, videos, templates, music, 3D assets, and a large amount of AI-generated content. Adobe's own category counts can vary by page and region, so for public-facing copy, "900M+ assets" is currently the cleanest number to use.

Adobe Firefly has generated at least 22 billion assets

Adobe said in April 2025 that Firefly had generated more than 22 billion assets worldwide since launch.

That figure is broader than just images. Firefly now covers image generation and editing, video generation, audio workflows, vector generation, and features built into Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, Premiere Pro, and other Adobe tools.

The more useful statistic for readers is not just the total count. It is how deeply Firefly is now tied into Adobe pricing. Creative Cloud Pro includes 4,000 monthly generative credits, while new single-app and Photography subscribers generally get 25 monthly credits.

Adobe has acquired at least 56 companies

Over the years, Adobe has acquired at least 56 companies related to creative software, documents, marketing, analytics, 3D, AI, and business workflows.

The latest major acquisition is Semrush, which Adobe included in its Q2 FY2026 reporting. Adobe said total ARR exiting Q2 included approximately $480 million from Semrush.
