Between now and the end of June, the U.S. Supreme Court is scheduled to issue its ruling in the case of a Mississippi law that could overturn or significantly roll back the landmark ruling legalizing abortion, Roe v. Wade. We must redouble our efforts to accompany women and couples who are facing unexpected or difficult pregnancies, as well as to offer mercy to those suffering from abortion. And we must certainly better communicate the Church’s pastoral response that already exists at our parishes and in our ministries. We’d like to help equip you with resources to help you better communicate to the Faithful about the resources available for people facing unexpected or difficult pregnancies, and ways the Faithful can practically help such people.
