## systems engineer

I build backend, security, data, and distributed systems that need to
stay correct under pressure. Most of my work is in Elixir/OTP
infrastructure, cryptographic protocols, analytics pipelines,
authentication, fintech backends, and production LLM features.

[resume](/resume)[libraries](/libraries)

### low-level protocol work

Complete Elixir implementations of Noise Protocol, Nostr,
Gemini/SpaceBoy, and Reticulum, plus native cryptography bindings when
the BEAM needs help.

### backend and data systems

Elixir/Phoenix services, SQL-heavy analytics, background workers,
event-driven systems, and payment flows where correctness matters more
than ceremony.

### security and reliability

Authentication migrations, SSO, SAML, MFA, secure credential flows,
observability, incident tooling, and systems operators can understand at
3 a.m.

### expertise

- **Elixir & OTP** - concurrent systems that fail predictably and
  recover cleanly
- **EventSourcing / CQRS** - audit trails and domain workflows
- **Cryptography** - protocols, key handling, E2EE
- **Distributed Systems** - backends with clear failure modes and useful
  telemetry
- **LLM Integration** - product features, agent workflows, and
  eval-aware integrations
- **Authentication** - OAuth, MFA, SSO, credential lifecycle
