This page provides a real-time overview of Mendix system status, details on upcoming scheduled maintenance, and
a record of past incidents. Refer to the
documentation for more information.
Update - As we continue to fix the underlying platform, we have prioritized production environments to minimize impact.
Deployment errors have significantly decreased as the fixes are being applied. We are continuing to work towards complete recovery and will provide an update once all systems are fully restored.
Jul 16, 2026 - 18:38 UTC
Identified - We are currently applying fixes to the underlying servers where the issue was identified.
As part of this remediation, some environments may restart while we are fixing the issue, these restarts are expected and necessary to resolve the problem. Please continue to avoid new deployments until we confirm the fix is complete.
Jul 16, 2026 - 17:25 UTC
Update - We have identified the issue also impacts Mendix Cloud US-East and Mendix Cloud Dedicated EU (Frankfurt) Sierra regions.
We have identified the root cause of the deployment failures and unexpected environment restarts affecting multiple regions.
Jul 16, 2026 - 17:02 UTC
Update - Additional Impact Identified: Some environments in Mendix Cloud EU- Frankfurt 1 and Frankfurt 2 have experienced unexpected restarts. We are investigating whether this is related to the deployment failure issue.
Jul 16, 2026 - 16:51 UTC
Investigating - We are currently experiencing issues with deployments in our Mendix Cloud EU: Frankfurt 1 and Frankfurt 2 region. Multiple deployments are failing at this time. Please do not attempt to deploy applications to Frankfurt 1 or Frankfurt 2 regions until this issue is resolved.
We are aware of this issue and our team is actively investigating. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
Jul 16, 2026 - 16:42 UTC
Update - We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue.
This incident will be updated in 24 hours, or as events warrant.
Jul 13, 2026 - 12:32 UTC
Identified - We are facing issues with database provisioning in the Mendix Cloud UK cluster. Customers will experience issues while creating new apps but existing apps will work fine.
Issue is related to our cloud provider not having capacity on one of the availability zones.
Please do not deploy new applications if you are deploying for the first time, perform downsizes, or clear database during the incident.
Jul 06, 2026 - 12:03 UTC
The maintenance will improve the security and stability of the Mendix Cloud platform.
During the maintenance, Free Tier applications will remain running but will be temporarily unable to connect to their database. Posted on
Jul 14, 2026 - 16:49 UTC
We will perform updates on our platform applications. During the maintenance window, you may not be able to sign in to Mendix Portal or Studio Pro. Parts of the Mendix Portal may not be available. Public APIs, administration of API credentials and security settings may also be temporarily unavailable.
It may also not be possible to deploy apps or administer your environments during this time.

We will be updating the inbound IP addresses for the PDF Document Generation service. During this maintenance window, the PDF Document Generation service may be temporarily unavailable.
New inbound IP addresses: - 166.117.50.136 - 99.83.157.128
If you have applied IP restrictions to your app, please ensure these addresses are allowlisted to avoid disruption after the update. Posted on

Maintenance is scheduled for the application infrastructure of Mendix Cloud. The maintenance will improve the security and stability of the Mendix Cloud platform. This upgrade is executed on a platform level, which means there is no flexibility in the time period, but you can move your app early yourself (see below). An 8-hour maintenance window is planned.
Start: Monday, July 20th, 2026, 08:00 UTC End: Monday, July 20th, 2026, 16:00 UTC
Impact on Mendix apps
During the maintenance, the Runtime Engines (application instances) of your Mendix applications will be restarted and redeployed to the updated application infrastructure. This is executed automatically in no specific order. To ensure continuous availability for all customer applications, the underlying infrastructure upgrades will be performed in a rolling fashion. This means the rolling upgrade process ensures no downtime for both multi-instance applications (by restarting only one Runtime Engine at a time) and single-instance applications.
While the rolling nature of these upgrades is designed to minimize impact, a small number of users might experience brief, intermittent networking disruptions or 502 errors as underlying services are rotated. These are typically temporary and self-correcting.
Moving early
If the scheduled maintenance window is inconvenient for your application, you may opt to move to the updated infrastructure ahead of time. The updated application infrastructure will be available starting Thursday, July 16th, 2026, 12:00 UTC.
Any application that is (re)deployed or restarted after this time will be scheduled on the updated infrastructure and will not be restarted again during the maintenance window. This allows you to control the timing of the restart and avoid impact during business-critical hours.
Please note that, even when moving early, a small number of users may still experience brief, intermittent 502 errors during the scheduled maintenance window due to the rotation of underlying platform services. These events are expected to be temporary and self-correcting. Posted on
