Truth. It doesn’t make sense but it is by design. Billionaires are a central part of our economic crisis for most people living in the US.

Of course we shouldn’t be surprised bc what else would we expect from this administration except blatant lawlessness and corruption. And yet it still guts me that we live in a day and age where judicial nominees refuse to defend the constitution. 😡🤬😡

JUST IN: A Trump judicial nominee was asked point blank: is Trump eligible to run for a third term? Their answer: “I would have to review the actual wording…” Sen. Chris Coons then asked every nominee in the room to confirm the Constitution bars a third term. Silence. Every

We have got to do better than this. We need S9589 (Senator @RiveraSena63774 & Assemblymember @AmyPaulin) to protect New Yorkers who lose their health insurance because of changes under H.R. 1 by making sure they continue to be covered by NYS once federal policy cuts them off.

New Yorkers impacted by Essential Plan changes—including 450,000 who will lose coverage in July—are about to receive this confusing letter. “No action needed” can mean the state is moving you to another plan, or you’re on your own. We need S9589 to keep New Yorkers insured!

As a solution to SEQR being used as a tool to block the building of much-needed housing in New York, Senator @RachelMayNY & Assemblymember @AMKelles proposed the Sustainable Affordable Housing and Sprawl Prevention Act. Read more from @CityAndStateNY: tinyurl.com/4vw6wy54

Deep gratitude to @NewYorkStateAG Letitia James for defending SNAP and the millions of families who rely on it. This ruling is a victory for justice, dignity, and food security! No family should go hungry because of politics. #SNAP #FoodJustice #NYPol

In a major victory, a court ruled the Trump administration must use emergency funds to provide food stamps to Americans.   No one should choose between paying bills and buying groceries.   We'll continue our lawsuit to fight for our families and the services they deserve.
