The mempool data you rent is worse than the mempool data you own. Double-spend detection in seconds, not minutes. Broadcast paths you control. Reasons @OpenNode, @Strike, @coinbase, @krakenfx, and @BitGo run their own Bitcoin nodes. Chainstack Self-Hosted now ships Bitcoin

Ethereum's biggest bottleneck isn't gas fees. It's the EVM itself. Stack-based, 256-bit words, built before zk-proofs existed. Result: an @ethereum block is up to 800ร— more expensive to zk-prove on the EVM than on RISC-V. That's why @VitalikButerin proposed replacing it ๐Ÿงฑ

Every `poll for finalized` loop on @solana is about to become dead code. With Alpenglow: โ†’ finality drops from 12.8s to 100-150ms โ†’ `confirmed` and `finalized` collapse into one certificate โ†’ validator vote transactions (~75% of Solana tx) move off-chain into BLS certificates
Diagram: How Votor finalizes a block with Alpenglow in ~150ms. A block proposal splits into two parallel paths. Fast path requires โ‰ฅ80% stake votes and finalizes in 1 round. Slow path requires โ‰ฅ60% stake votes and finalizes in 2 rounds (notarization + finalization). Whichever crosses its threshold first wins. Both paths result in a BLS certificate (~1,000 bytes) anchored on-chain, delivering deterministic finality in 100โ€“150ms.

Three things to audit before mainnet: ๐Ÿ”น Replace `signature status` polling with `signatureSubscribe` ๐Ÿ”น Shorten cache TTLs to under 250ms or add certificate-aware invalidation ๐Ÿ”น Any logic treating `confirmed` and `finalized` as different states, since both converge
